Porsche Of Tacoma

Metal Systems From American Buildings Company Give Sleek New Look To Auto Dealership

The Porsche of Tacoma auto dealership was built with the finest workmanship and technology, like a Porsche itself, by Accrete Construction LLC, an American Buildings Company (ABC) Authorized Builder.

Accrete constructed the 15,000 sq. ft. Porsche of Tacoma facility by using single slope and gable steel framing and reflective white Standing Seam 360 panels for the roof. In addition, these panels are SmartKote® “cool” coated to reflect solar rays more effectively and reduce the amount of heat that is absorbed into the respective building, saving heating and cooling costs.

The auto dealership includes a 10,000 sq. ft. showroom with a 5,000 sq. ft. service shop attached. At 113’ long, the curved front sidewall supports glass and aluminum panels that give the dealership an upscale modern feel. Each frame has a different length and height to fit the curve, which is supported by the ABC structure.

Headquartered in Puyallup, Wash., Accrete was awarded first place in the auto dealership category for their work on Porsche of Tacoma in the 2013 ABC Excellence in Design Awards. ABC’s Excellence in Design Awards recognize builders and roofers for their innovation and distinction in design.
