A former call center in Buffalo, NY is now a charter school. Trautman Associates of Buffalo developed the plan for converting the 47,000 sq. ft. building into a contemporary, invigorating environment for learning and used Omega-Lite ACM panels from Laminators Inc. to achieve its design objectives.
Tapestry Charter School is home to 300 students. The building has approximately 14,000 sq. ft. of Omega-Lite panels on its exterior, finished in three colors: Bone White, Ascot White and Brite Red. In addition to being available in a wide range of colors, Omega-Lite panels are strong and durable—two qualities required in any school setting.
With the renovation and upgrades, the school grounds now boast an outdoor amphitheater, science center, picnic area with teambuilding apparatus, and a gardening discovery area.
Ellicott Development of Buffalo, NY oversaw the $14 million project, while Gypsum Systems of Elma, NY installed the ACM panels using the manufacturer’s 2-piece molding system. Buffalo Sales of Buffalo, NY supplied the panels for the project.
