New Valspar Brochure Focuses On Company's Green Agenda
Minneapolis, MN – Valspar is offering architects, specifiers, industry partners and other potential customers an opportunity to learn more about its eco-friendly philosophy, practices and products through a new eight-page color brochure.
The brochure highlights initiatives undertaken by the company in recent years—as part of its Green Agenda—to produce industry-best products while reducing its environmental footprint (i.e., protecting air and water quality, and lowering the consumption of natural resources). It details the company's push to develop low-VOC, high solids coatings; heavy-metal-free resins for backers; and a wide range of solar reflective colors.
Valspar’s coatings are listed, labeled and compliant for use by the Cool Roof Rating Council, LEED and Energy Star®. The brochure includes capsule descriptions of its eco-friendly products, including Versoval™ universal backer, Acropon® acrylic, ValGreen™ polyester, Fluropon® SR, Flurothane® SR, Flurospar® SR and WeatherXL™ SR, and chrome-free primer.
