ATAS Vice-President Jim Bush Celebrates 30 Years

Allentown, PA - ATAS International’s VP of Sales and Marketing, Jim Bush, celebrates 30 years at the company in October 2014.

Bush was working for Astralloy-Vulcan/Manganese Steel Forge in Birmingham, Alabama when he applied for a sales/drafting position at ATAS 30 years ago. Since joining ATAS, Bush has moved up within the company as a draftsman, customer service, salesman, and sales manager. Since 1999, he has been in his current position as the Vice-President of Sales and Marketing.

Bush has also become a respected leader in the industry. He is currently a board member of the Metal Construction Association (MCA), co-chairperson of the MCA Retrofit Council, past chair and current vice chair of the Roofing Council, and chair of the MCA Roofing Certification Committee. He is also a member of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) and a member of the Roofing Industry Committee on Weather Issues, Inc. (RICOWI) Wind and Hail Investigation Teams.

Bush was inducted into the 2014 Metal Construction Hall of Fame and also received the 2010 Patrick R. Bush Service Award, which recognizes an individual who has recently made significant volunteer contributions to the MCA.

It was noted that Jim Bush has been a valuable asset to the growth of ATAS since its move to the Lehigh Valley 30 years ago. The company congratulates him on all his achievements within the industry, while offering thanks for his dedication.
