VMZINC® To Sponsor Upcoming AIA Triangle Golf Tournament

Raleigh, NC – VMZINC^®-US, the international brand name of rolled zinc products manufactured and sold by the Building Products Unit of the Umicore group, has announced that the company will sponsor the 2015 American Institute of Architecture (AIA) Triangle Golf Tournament on Friday, May 1 at Lonnie Poole Golf Course, located at 1509 Main Campus Drive, Raleigh. The tournament allows AIA Triangle members, sponsors and guests to enjoy a great afternoon of comradeship and competition on a challenging course, while supporting future design professionals with their education.

This annual tournament raises money for the AIA Triangle Scholarship/Fellowship Fund, which provides a scholarship to an undergraduate student and a fellowship to a graduate student enrolled in the architecture program at North Carolina State University’s College of Design. Throughout their many years of support, AIA Triangle has raised more than $20,000 in support of these scholarships.
