Meehan, meanwhile, is a dedicated sales professional with over thirty years of architectural sales and marketing experience, and a proven track record of establishing and growing MCM brands in Corporate Identity and Architectural MCM market segments.
Early in his career, he helped pioneer and develop a highly successful East Coast business unit for Consolidated Aluminum while creating the single largest Corporate Identity ACM account for Alucobond. From the mid-1990’s through 2019,
he led the sales and business development efforts for Alcoa / Arconic on the West Coast and in Western Canadian provinces – driving dramatic increases in architectural MCM specifications and sales. In his new role, he will promote both
the Alfrex FR metal composite material (MCM) and Alfrex Plate architectural wall cladding product lines.
“Frank combines a lifetime of product and market wisdom with a wealth of consultative relationships with architects, specialty sub-contractors, distributors, and business owners”, said Herb Larsen, Director of Sales and Marketing for Alfrex.
“His entrepreneurial leadership skills and ability to approach the market strategically are perfect for the establishment of the Alfrex line of products in the Southwest region.”
Meehan holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia and in 2000, secured an MBA. He is based out of Scottsdale, AZ.
Alfrex is investing in a new, FR-only MCM production facility in Buford, Georgia which will commence production in mid-2020. The operation will provide the market with a more competitive domestically produced FR ACM product with shorter lead times,
and a differentiated extended product line including 3mm thick, non-combustible, coil coated aluminum plate.
