New Schweiss Hydraulic Door Is Self-Framed And Pre-Hung, Saving Time And Money

Fairfax, MN - Schweiss Doors, one of the world’s premier manufacturers of bifold, hydraulic and designer doors for general aviation, commercial, industrial and architectural applications, has raised the bar in door design with the introduction of its one-of-a-kind Superstructure Triple Leg Stand-Alone Door. The tripod leg design transfers the door weight directly down to the footings that support the hydraulic door, eliminating the structural reinforcing members typically required for door installations, such as additional side columns and a header or truss, and the substantial costs associated with them.

With the hydraulic door and combined framework to support it, the Schweiss Superstructure Triple Leg Stand-Alone Door is a viable option for both new construction and for retrofit installation in existing buildings.

The new door system has three major components: the cylinders, the doorframe and the subframe header. The three major components form a solid triangle when the door is an any position. By connecting all the major components together, the door installation and operation is strong and stable.

The new Superstructure Triple Leg Stand-Alone Door comes pre-assembled, pre-welded and pre-hung from the factory within a pre-squared frame, saving hours of installation time and vastly simplifying the installation process. And each door comes with Schweiss’ acclaimed support after the sale, with technical assistance at the ready to ensure proper installation and complete satisfaction.
