Jonathan Humble Named Honorary Member Of International Code Council

Washington, DC - Jonathan Humble, FAIA, NCARB, LEED BD+C, regional director of the American Iron and Steel Institute’s (AISI) Construction Technical Program, was installed as an Honorary Member of the International Code Council (ICC) on September
20, 2021 during the ICC’s Annual Conference and Public Comment Hearings at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, PA. This recognition is bestowed on an individual who has rendered outstanding service to the ICC.
“We congratulate Jonathan on this recognition by the International Code Council,” said Robert J. Wills, P.E., AISI’s vice president, construction. “Over the years, Jonathan has made many important contributions utilizing cold-formed
steel to advance building performance and enhance safety measures. He joins four other AISI employees who received this honor in previous years: Daniel McGee, James Spence, Henry V. Kominek and Richard A. Vognild.”
AISI’s Construction Technical Program staff work diligently to ensure that building codes and standards reflect state-of-the-art industry practices, are technically sound, permit the proper and safe use of steel, and promote the recognition of concepts
favorable to steel.
