Portland, OR – The Metal Roofing Alliance (MRA) has announced changes to its member contractor program, helping further bolster the industry by providing benefits ranging from consumer leads and industry representation, to sales tools and marketing support. With the goal of growing the metal roofing residential market in the U.S. and Canada while meeting the increased demand from consumers for a long lasting, resilient, sustainable and stylish roofing solution, the MRA now offers member contractors two ways to participate.

Beginning in 2025, qualified metal roofing contractors can opt to become a MRA Gold or Silver level participant. For $1,500 per year, MRA Gold level contractor members will receive extra promotion and business building benefits, including homeowner leads delivered daily, top listing on MRA’s Find A Professional web page and the ability to highlight images with an enhanced online profile. Silver level members can participate at no cost and will receive leads delivered weekly. They also will be listed on MRA’s Find A Professional web page, below Gold members and with a company name-only profile listing.

All MRA contractor members receive value from participating in MRA’s consumer-focused education and marketing efforts designed to grow awareness of quality metal roofing and showcase the many benefits of metal roofing. Already, MRA’s efforts have led to a strong increase in demand for metal roofing among homeowners, and quality metal roofing has become the second most popular choice of roofing material in the U.S. As a leading nonprofit, MRA is synonymous with the highest standards of quality and excellence in the roofing industry, giving participating members the opportunity to align themselves with a reputable organization that has earned the trust of thousands of homeowners.

“There’s no doubt the popularity of residential metal roofing is increasing and now more than ever before, homeowners are looking for professional resources for new construction and re-roofing needs,” said Renee Ramey, MRA executive director. “Our goal is to connect the dots and make sure that homeowners can find not only the information they need to make an informed decision, but also the skilled professionals that will help them install a quality metal roof.”
