Hollywood Air Services is an aviation hangar in Belle Vernon, PA, used to store ABC News Air Operations. This 16,000 square foot hangar is also used for office space. In addition to Star Building System’s framing, a StarShield standing seam roof system was used along with a StarMark wall system.

For this project, it was essential to use a Star pre-engineered building due to time restraints and clear span requirements necessary for hangar and aviation use. In this particular area, most of the surrounding structures were pre-engineered metal buildings. Cost was another issue in the decision to use a pre-engineered building.

A four leaf sliding door was used with dimensions of 78’6” by 24’. The door was provided by Fleming Door Co. StarMark panels and split face block accent the building.

Star’s Authorized Builder is Wally Corporation, located in Uniontown, PA. The steel erector and engineer was also Wally Corporation.
