This building for Carlota Copper Company in Miami, AZ was a complexity 10 project with an elevated 4’ stem wall at perimeter. The building was built entirely from the outside due to 98 pre-installed electrowinning tanks. The primary and secondary steel was shipped black, then the builder applied 20 mil Epoxy Carboline finish prior to assembly. The steel was installed with an 11-ton crane/rail running the length of the building. The 29,318 sq. ft. Carlota Copper Company building was built on a hill-top within a copper mine with continual high wind conditions.
