Metal panels provided the crowning touch for a fascia that wraps the office of the new Genco Company building in Massillon, OH. The panels were formed on a shop brake and then installed by Classic Metals Ltd. of Holmesville, OH.
The material from which the panels were formed was COOLR® roofing metal from Sheffield Metals of Sheffield Village, OH. COOLR® roofing metals are available in a variety of substrates and finishes, but in this case, the material was 24-gauge Galvalume-coated steel with a Charcoal Gray paint finish. To create the detailed tongue-and-groove/board-and-batten panels, the contractor bent each 24"-wide panel a total of 11 times, resulting in a finished exposure of 15".
COOLR® metals are sustainable and energy efficient, and meet the performance criteria of the EPA's Energy Star program. Sheffield Metals stocks COOLR® metals in more than two dozen colors, including acrylic-coated Galvalume, and offers the material in a variety of gauges, widths and substrates for low- and steep-slope applications. The metal features 25%-minimum recycled content and is 100% recyclable.
