A very private beachfront residence in Gulf County, Florida, used approximately 5,200 sq. ft. of .040” aluminum Snap-Clad panels in silver color in both tapered and straight applications. Petersen Aluminum was chosen as metal roof supplier for its ability to make the tapered panels in the desired single 19-foot lengths and then the balance of the straight panels.

The home “became one of the more challenging jobs we’ve done in 2014 due to the layout and complexity of the tapered roof panels,” said Dave Landis, Petersen Aluminum’s architectural/technical sales manager. Landis is based out of the company’s Acworth, Georgia plant and assisted the roofing contractor in measuring for proper panel length and creating the complex layout.
