One of the challenges in redeveloping a former industrial complex on Long Island in New York was coming up with a look that would attract a broad range of tenants. With Englert 2000 pre-weathered Galvalume wall panels, that requirement was met.
999 South Oyster Bay Road in Bethpage is a 1.2 million sq. ft. mixed-use complex with warehousing and office facilities. The complex was owned by both aerospace giant Grumman Corporation and Nassau County before being sold to an area developer who completely revamped and modernized the 95-acre complex to accommodate a mix of office and distribution space.
The Englert Series 2000 pre-weathered Galvalume panels were utilized on each of the buildings in the sprawling complex. The Englert material, using in conjunction with other exterior metal treatments, brought a crisp, unifying look to the facades of the buildings, helping the developer lure several nationally known tenants. They include a major landscaping products and services company, an eyewear manufacturer and retailer, a national kitchen countertop manufacturer and several regional manufacturing companies.
