Bayer Motors consists of a showroom building and a service department building for a Chevrolet, Buick and GMC Dealership in Comanche, Texas that was constructed with materials from Mid-West Steel Building Company.
The builder was WCMS, LLC – Construction Managers and the erector was Vaquera Steel Erecting Inc. The designer was Classic Design Group.
The showroom building is an L-shaped partial two story building. The first floor is 4,520 square feet and the second floor is 3,720 square feet. A portion of the first floor has a 9' ceiling and the rest is 19’ 3”.
The service building is 60' x 385', single slope with a 19'6" high side. The building is 23,485 square feet and has a 40' clear span service drive.
The roof panels are PBR and the end wall and side wall panels are R panels. All interior and exterior lighting is LED.
The Bayer Motors project was a 2014 Mid-West Award of Merit winner.
