A retail office furniture operation, this 14,500 sq. ft. facility for Business Interiors in Ridgeland, MS, features a metal building by VP Buildings.

One objective was to meet the owner’s desire to preserve as many trees on the project site as possible. With that in mind, Cypress Olive colored horizontal metal panels were chosen to blend in with the surroundings. Aluminum composite panels were used on the main entry canopy to give a smooth, sleek appearance. Meanwhile, the main showroom has an exposed steel structure with Galvalume-coated steel Panel Rib ceiling liner panels to accent the open warehouse effect.

Panels used on this project included VP Buildings’ Galvalume-coated steel SSR standing seam roofing and CENTRIA’s Super-Rib exposed-fastener panels.

The VP Buildings authorized builder was Peoples Construction Corporation, Flowood, MS. The designer was Canizaro, Cawthon, Davis of Jackson, MS. The project was completed in December 2006.
