Omega-Lite® aluminum composite material wall panels from Laminators Inc. were among the materials utilized by Mulvanny G2 Architecture of Denver, CO for the design of a Costco store on Barnes Road in Colorado Springs, CO. The building features approximately 3,000 sq. ft. of the material, in a Medium Bronze color.
Omega-Lite® material comes standard in 6 mm-thick sheets and is available in a wide range of standard colors and finishes, as well as metal thicknesses and sheet sizes. The material is fabricated into panels in the shop or at the job site, with the created panels then installed using one of the material manufacturer’s proprietary attachment systems. In the case of the Costco store, Laminators’ One-Piece Tight Fit molding system was utilized. Handling the panel system fabrication and installation was Norton Sheet Metal of Calhan, CO.
Others involved with the project included Robinson Construction, Hillsboro, OR, handling the general contracting duties, and Riddell and Company, Englewood, CO.
