The Fastenal project in Marinette, WI, is a post frame structure with pvc trim fastened to the bottom chord of the trusses. The owners wanted the highest r-value they could get for the northern Wisconsin winters. The uncluttered, finished look of the HIGH-R ceiling and wall insulation system suited the needs of the showroom.

Dowling Construction installed the HIGH-R kit quickly in a week’s time to fulfill the project’s timeline and allow for the supplemental heat to be turned on. Fiberglass insulation was blown after the panels were installed to provide an r-value of R-42 in the attic space. Because of the energy efficiency, interior walls were deleted from the project and the building’s openness was maintained.
