The stores sell new and gently used furniture, appliances, home goods, building materials and more. As described on the Habitat for Humanity website, "Proceeds are used to help build strength, stability, self-reliance and shelter in local communities and around the world." The Kenner operation is owned by the New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity affiliate.

Marsiglia Construction Company LLC of Harahan, LA was the Varco Pruden Builder. The project was design by L.K. Harmon, Architects, APAC, based in New Orleans.

Completed in March 2019, the facility is topped by Varco Pruden's SSR roofing in Cool Arctic White. Varco Pruden also supplied Cool Zinc Gray wall panels.
