Magyar Bank was founded in 1922 by a group of Hungarian businessmen and immigrants looking for a bank to help them achieve the American Dream. The name "Magyar" is the Hungarian word to describe a decendant of Hungary. Magyar’s goal is achieving dreams such as homeownership, business growth, educating a child, or community and business development.
Magyar bank installed an ATAS International Inc. metal roof in 2005. ATAS International Inc. was chosen for the pattern of the panel, color, and ability to create an arc panel that fit their requirements.
The panels used on this project, contracted byTri- County Construction Inc., were ATAS International Inc.’s Dutch Standing Seam and Convex Arc Panel. Both panel types used were Patina Green, and installed by Hungaria Holding LLC.
ATAS International Inc.’s Dutch Seam panel is a continuous standing seam panel with an integral seam. Panels are easily installed, no mechanical field seaming is necessary and the panel is simply snapped into the previously installed panel. The panel width can be 11”, 15”, or 19 ¼”. The width chosen for Magyar Banks was 15”.
The building was designed by Mark Antonio & Kuhn.
