With Programs Plus, re-branding with ALPOLIC aluminum composite material is easier than ever.

Programs Plus was conceived with the corporate branding market in mind and provides companies with a quick and easy way to order material in the exact corporate colors needed. The ordering system also helps with the selection of material, panel sizes and attachment methods.

Flexx Corporation, a Cambridge, Ontario, Canada-based aluminum composite material fabricator/installer, used Programs Plus to order ACM material for the Oak-Land Ford dealership in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. Flexx became involved with the project based on its successful involvement in past projects with the project manager and was charged with fabricating and installing an ACM cladding system as part of that dealership’s upgrade to meet Ford Motor Company’s latest re-imaging guidelines. Though an ACM product had already been selected for the project prior to Flexx’s arrival on the scene, the fabricator’s endorsement of the material led to ALPOLIC being incorporated in the finalized design.

A similar story played out at the neighboring Lincoln dealership. Plans to renovate it were underway too, also calling for use of a different ACM product. However, upon seeing the quality and aesthetics of the installed ALPOLIC material at Oak-Land Ford, the decision was made to use it on the Lincoln dealership too.

RH Carter Architects Inc. of Toronto headed up the Oak-Land Ford project team, with Berkim Construction acting as the general contractor. The project was completed in August 2011 and features 3mm-thick ALPOLIC/fr material in both White and Black colors.

Flexx has high praise for ALPOLIC and the company behind it, Mitsubishi Chemical Composites America Inc. of Chesapeake, VA. Flexx officials cite the product’s ease of manipulation, extensive color palette and superior quality as reasons for its continued use, while the responsiveness and support Flexx receives from Mitsubishi ensures a positive relationship between the contractor and supplier.
