Home to Starbucks' Corporate Headquarters, many regard Seattle, Washington as the coffee capital of the United States. But Denver residents like their coffee too. The Mile-High City is home to 70 Starbucks locations, with one of the latest opening at Tower Rd. and 67th Avenue. Incorporated into the exterior design of the new store are Omega-Lite aluminum composite metal wall panels from Laminators Inc.
Approximately 1,350 sq. ft. of the ACM panels in a Grey Mica color were installed using Laminators’ proprietary 1-Piece, Tight-Fit Molding installation system. The system is known for its ease of installation, using Laminators’ durable 1-piece moldings, available in "H" and "Reveal H" versions to provide two different joint design options. The final product selection was made by KTK General Contracting Ltd. Of Westminster, CO.
The Tight-Fit system guaranteed the facility a class A fire rating as well since it meets NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) 285, Miami-Dade County Product Control and Florida Product Approval requirements. By designing their products to these rigorous standards, Laminators Inc. can ensure their ACM panels meet these stringent performance levels and provide design professionals and building owners the confidence that their cladding will withstand the most extreme conditions.
