The Farm Banquet Center in Selma, NC is an eye-catching banquet hall and amphitheater made up of five building systems that total just over 14,000 sq. ft. Metal building framing and related products from Star Building Systems were used in the facility’s construction.

Star’s DoubleLok seam panels, in both Classic Green and Galvalume, were used on the roof. StarMark panels in Light Stone color were used in conjunction with Hardie board horizontal siding and 12” rough cut pine vertical board-and-batten siding on the walls. A 4’ stone veneer wainscot accents the building.

Another interesting feature is a 16’ x 31’ x 5’ clerestory with six 2’-6 x 8’-0 windows to allow for natural light in the assembly area.

The project includes a covered 32’ x 60’ x 3’-8” outdoor stage. Super Saver insulation was used in the roof.

The Star Builder on this project was Talon Construction, Inc. of Smithfield, NC. The architect was Urena Architecture, Raleigh, NC, and the steel erector was Duncan Steel of Zebulon, NC. The project was completed in 2013.
