Totaling 52,888 square feet, the Stonegate III multi-use facility in Omaha, NE utilized metal building framing by Star Building Systems, as well as Star’s StarShield Roof System in Galvalume along with Star’s DuraRib Wall System in Almond. Also incorporated into the structure is the Long Bay structural steel system.

Completed in June of 2008, this facility used a Star metal building due to its quick erection and cost savings.

In conjunction with the DuraRib walls, pre-cast wall panels with a masonry pattern were used on three walls. Conventional canopies were built at every entrance with masonry to complement the wall panels.

To make the project more energy efficient, insulated pre-cast wall panels were used, along with PSK-VR R-30 insulation banded at the roof.

The Star Builder and general contractor was Prairie Construction Company, Omaha, NE. The steel erector was Sideris Construction, Omaha, NE. The architect was Avant Architects, Omaha, NE.
