Located in Sallisaw, OK, a new hangar for Ely Helicopter Services was constructed with products from Star Building Systems and featuring a 46’ wide x 15’ high Schweiss hydraulic lift hangar door.

The building measures 60’ long with a 16’ eave height and a 2:12 slope on the roof. The Schweiss door is positioned in the middle of one 96’ wide endwall. Star provided design, support, sheeting and flashing for the door.

PBR profile wall panels formed from 26-gauge steel in Lightstone color were used on the exterior along with PBR 26-gauge Galvalume Plus panels on the roof. Fern Green trim was used around the roof perimeter.

The Star Builder was B&B Welding Inc. of Sallisaw, OK, who served as the general contractor and metal building systems erector. The project started in May 2016 and was completed less than two months later.
