National Metal Sales Headquarters

Sheet Metal Distribution And Fabrication Center Turns To Petersen Aluminum For Headquarters Expansion

The design of National Metal Sales’ significant expansion of its headquarters facility in Romulus, Mich., has been described as achieving “a classy look in its industrial setting.” NMS, a full-service sheet metal distribution and fabrication center, selected Petersen Aluminum’s Precision Series Horizontal Wall Panels to get the look it wanted.

Approximately 4,500 sq. ft. of the 22 gauge HWP finished in Charcoal Gray was utilized. The wall panels are available in two profiles and offer unmatched design flexibility by combining bold visual effects with easy, cost-effective installation. In addition, 3,000 sq. ft. of 24 gauge Snap-Clad panels in complementary Cardinal Red finished off the building’s handsome appearance.

“Petersen’s reputation for quality and style is first class,” said Robert Faint, NMS partner. “We eat, sleep and dream metal. And we wanted this project to show our customers that if they have any questions about metal, they are coming to the right place to get the right answers.”

CFO Rob Molnar said Faint is the “heart and soul of the company” who directed and supervised all aspects of the project including design, fabrication, installation and detailing.

The architectural firm of Rick Bohl & Associates Architects in Grosse Ile, Mich, was also involved in the project. All installation was done by National Metal Sales crew.
