Commercial headquarters and corporate facilities are becoming multifunctional environments that combine workplace, innovation and customer engagement functions. This shift is driving greater emphasis on building envelopes that can deliver high thermal performance, strong architectural expression and faster construction timelines. That's what Kingspan Insulated Panels wanted in its newly renovated headquarters in DeLand, FL, using its own products as examples.

Manchester Farms is recognized not only for being family owned and operated for more than 165 years, but also for the beautifully maintained, historic round barn that sits on the property. The same level of care that has helped the round barn endure is given to the farm's more modern structures, including a 90's-era metal-clad shop building. When one of its two big doors was damaged by accident, the farm's owners chose a high-quality replacement from Schweiss Doors.

When the original 1982 brick cladding on Mears Middle School in Anchorage, Alaska, began to fail, the necessity for a full-scale exterior restoration became the catalyst for a total architectural reimagining, which included a feature comprised of ALUCOLUX® aluminum panels from 3A Composites Americas, etched with nature scenes reflective of the surrounding landscape.

Tubelite's aluminum-framed curtain wall, storefront and entrance systems enhance the building’s daylight, transparency, views, outdoor access, visual appearance and resilient performance.

Witherspoon Student Center at North Carolina State University (NC State) in Raleigh, NC is a multi-faceted facility on campus; bridging legacy and functionality to meet the needs of a bustling campus. The building’s namesake is Augustus M. Witherspoon, forever immortalized at NC State for his extraordinary contributions to the community. Originally completed in 1990, interior elements of the facility were recently renovated with ATAS’ custom beam and baffle panels to modernize the building.

Among the hundreds of privately owned airports in Alaska's backcountry is Airkat Airpark 9AA9, located outside Haines. Owned and operated by George and Lynette Campbell, the airport features an 1,100-foot long runway and a brand new 60' x 80' hangar. To provide operational reliability and durability, the hangar is outfitted with a 55' x 15' liftstrap bifold door from Schweiss Doors.
