When the Town of Surf City, NC, made plans to construct a building that would consolidate the police department and other emergency services operations, durability was a main consideration. To meet the high-wind requirements of the coast, the architectural roofing choice was McElroy Metal’s Maxima standing seam metal roofing, featuring a 3-coat paint finish from Sherwin-Williams.

The new Theodore Roosevelt Visitor Center at the Theodore Roosevelt National Wildlife Refuge near Onward, Miss., provides interpretive information for both the refuge and the six other properties that make up the refuge complex. Its design, including a classic, farm-style metal roof from Petersen, is a direct reflection of the area’s agricultural roots.

Located on the northernmost tip of Key Largo in the Florida Keys, Ocean Reef Club is one of the country’s most comprehensive private club communities, offering 1,700 waterfront estates, private homes, condominiums and an oceanfront inn. Recently, solar metal roof panels were added to the roof of the club's 6,400 sq. ft. reverse osmosis water plant. Seeking more control over its energy and power demands, Unicharm Co. Ltd. explored rooftop solar options for its manufacturing facility in Taiwan. Company officials liked the idea of adding rooftop solar, but were concerned about the added weight of glass crystalline panels. The Rochester (Minn.) Public Schools District teamed up with LHB on a $171.4 million bond referendum to ask the voters to construct three elementary schools and a middle school. The first of the schools completed was Overland Elementary School. To help ensure the facility would stand the test of time, copper Flat Lock Tiles from Sheet Metal Supply of Grayslake, IL were specified and installed on the school.

Rising 30 stories high in downtown Bethesda, MD is an iconic new structure called The Elm. The neutral tones of the residential high-rise are juxtaposed by the glass curtain wall of the office façade. The building's upper portions are covered with aluminum composite panels fabricated and installed by Manchester, MI-based CEI Materials.

A unique and modern private residence in East Hampton, NY won two first-place awards for the residential walls and interiors categories in ATAS International’s 2020 project of the year competition.

When the Haslam and Edwards families purchased Major League Soccer's Columbus (Ohio) Crew franchise in late 2018, it was a win for the city and the organization, which got a new stadium and a new training facility, dubbed the OhioHealth Performance Center. The new building features aluminum composite metal wall panels from Laminators Inc. of Hatfield, PA, on its exterior.

Designed in 1954 as the home to the historic Philadelphia Bulletin newspaper, the Bulletin Building is an iconic structure in the booming University City neighborhood. Voters in Martin, Michigan were asked for more money to fund substantial facilities upgrades at Martin High School. By a 2-1 margin, they voted Yes, allowing plans to move forward for the construction of a new auditorium, a new gymnasium, new outdoor athletic facilities and more. The state-of-the-art Riverview Branch Library in Riverview, Florida, won the first-place award for the commercial roofs category in ATAS International’s 2020 project of the year competition. Now called the "House of Four Gables," the 1,205-square-foot, two-story home maximizes the floorspace inside within the lot's tight borders.

Developers of Wichita State University’s Innovation Campus have turned what was once the school’s golf course into a magnet for technology and manufacturing R&D leaders. Partnership Building 3 is one of the latest additions to the campus, and its contemporary façade highlights the versatility of metal wall panels from Petersen as it incorporates three different panel profiles into one coherent design.

The beautiful Elysian Beach Resort is located on the eastern end of St. Thomas. In 2017, Hurricanes Irma and Maria created catastrophic damage on the island, including the destruction of many roofs, causing the resort to close.
