Construction Employment Highest Since September 2008

Construction Demand Expected To Continue To Grow In 2018

Arlington, VA - Forty states added construction jobs between November 2016 and November 2017, while 39 states added construction jobs between October and November, according to an analysis by the Associated General Contractors of America of Labor Department data. Association officials noted that firms in most states are adding jobs amid expectations that demand will continue to grow thanks to new tax cuts and regulatory reforms.

AIA Architecture Billings Index Upturn Shows Broad Strength

Washington, DC - The American Institute of Architects (AIA) reported the November ABI score was 55.0, up from a score of 51.7 in the previous month. This score reflects an increase in design services provided by U.S. architecture firms (any score above 50 indicates an increase in billings).

ATAS International Hosts Mobile Manufacturing Lab

Allentown, PA - ATAS International Inc. recently hosted Lehigh Carbon Community College’s (LCCC) Mobile Manufacturing Lab, in the parking lot of ATAS’ headquarters located in Allentown, PA. Six students from four area companies earned certificates in the Industrial Automation training held August 15 through December 5, 2017.
