Equipment Finance Industry Confidence Dips In April

Washington, DC – The Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation (the Foundation) releases the April 2022 Monthly Confidence Index for the Equipment Finance Industry (MCI-EFI) today. The index reports a qualitative assessment of both the prevailing business conditions and expectations for the future as reported by key executives from the $900 billion equipment finance sector. Overall, confidence in the equipment finance market is 56.1, a decrease from the March index of 58.2.

AIA Index Shows Demand For Design Services Jumped In March

Washington, DC – Demand for design services in March expanded sharply from February according to a new report from The American Institute of Architects (AIA). AIA’s Architecture Billings Index (ABI) score for March was 58.0, up from a score of 51.3 in February. Any score above 50 indicates an increase in billings.

AGC Analysis Shows Construction Industry Added 19,000 Jobs In February

Arlington, VA - Construction employment climbed by 19,000 jobs between February and March, while spending on construction projects rose for the 12th month in a row in February, according to an analysis by the Associated General Contractors of America of recently released government data. Association leaders warned that further gains may stall unless the supply of workers and materials improves. They urged officials to end tariffs on key materials and broaden training and education opportunities for construction careers.
