Three New Cold-Formed Steel Framing Research Reports Published By AISI

Washington, DC - The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) has published three new cold-formed steel framing research reports: 1) “RP17-4: Higher Strength Cold-Formed Steel Framed/Steel Shear Walls for Mid-Rise Construction,” 2) “RP17-5: Higher Capacity Cold-Formed Steel Sheathed and Framed Shear Walls for Mid-Rise Buildings, Part 1,” and 3) “RP17-6: Higher Capacity Cold-Formed Steel Sheathed and Framed Shear Walls for Mid-Rise Buildings, Part 2.”

Recently Formed MBCEA Marketing Committee Convenes In New Jersey

Construction Employment Rises In Most States During July

Arlington, VA - Forty-five states and the District of Columbia added construction jobs between July 2017 and July 2018, while 29 states and D.C. added construction jobs between June and July, according to an analysis by the Associated General Contractors of America of Labor Department data.
