Equipment Finance Industry Confidence Down Again In May

Washington, DC – The Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation (the Foundation) has released the May 2023 Monthly Confidence Index for the Equipment Finance Industry (MCI-EFI). The index reports a qualitative assessment of both the prevailing business conditions and expectations for the future as reported by key executives from the $1 trillion equipment finance sector. Overall, confidence in the equipment finance market is 40.6, a decrease from the April index of 47.0.

Norbec Announces Plans For New Plant In Ontario

Boucherville, Quebec – Norbec, a leading manufacturer of insulated metal panels and walk-in coolers and freezers since 1982, is pleased to announce that it is investing $45 million to build a state-of-the-art production plant in Strathroy, Ontario. Metal Construction Association Names New Board Member

McLauchlan, who is vice president of architectural sales at Metal Forming, LLC in Peachtree, Georgia, was appointed to fill a vacancy. Construction Employment Increases In 72% Of Metro Areas In March

Arlington, VA - Construction employment increased in 259, or 72 percent, of 358 metro areas between March 2022 and March 2023, according to an analysis by the Associated General Contractors of America of new government employment data. Association officials said expanding manufacturing construction was helping drive demand for new workers in many parts of the country.
