Equipment Leasing And Finance Industry Confidence Index Up For Third Straight Month

Washington, DC – The Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation (the Foundation) has released the January 2020 Monthly Confidence Index for the Equipment Finance Industry (MCI-EFI). Overall, confidence in the equipment finance market rose for the third consecutive month to 59.9, an increase from the December index of 56.2.

CCFSS Extends Deadline For Cold-Formed Steel Abstracts

Rolla, MO - The Wei-Wen Yu Center for Cold-Formed Steel Structures (CCFSS) at the Missouri University of Science and Technology has extended the deadline for abstracts in response to its call for papers for the biennial International Specialty Conference on Cold-Formed Steel Structures. The new deadline for abstracts is January 15, 2020, with final papers due by April 3, 2020.

Nucor Steel Arkansas To Add Coil Paint Line

Charlotte, NC - Nucor Corporation's (NYSE: NUE) Board of Directors has approved an expansion project which will add a coil paint line at the company's sheet mill in Mississippi County, Arkansas. The new coil paint line will have a capacity of 250,000 tons per year and is expected to start up in the first half of 2022.
