CCFSS Extends Deadline For Cold-Formed Steel Abstracts

Nucor Steel Arkansas To Add Coil Paint Line

Charlotte, NC - Nucor Corporation's (NYSE: NUE) Board of Directors has approved an expansion project which will add a coil paint line at the company's sheet mill in Mississippi County, Arkansas. Builder Confidence Is Strongest Since 1999

Washington, DC - Builder confidence in the market for newly-built single-family homes increased five points to 76 in December off an upwardly revised November reading, according to the latest National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index (HMI) released on December 16. This is the highest reading since June of 1999.

Construction Input Prices Down In November, According To ABC

Washington, DC - Construction input prices decreased 0.5% in November 2019 and are down 1.1% year over year, according to an Associated Builders and Contractors analysis of the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Producer Price Index data released on December 12. Nonresidential construction input prices decreased 0.4% for the month and are down 1.0% since November 2018.
