Blount Community Church

The growing Blount Community Church of Maryville, TN was in need of a new facility, including areas for worship, daycare and classrooms. The affordable solution was to erect metal building framing from A & S Building Systems, topped with standing seam roofing from MBCI and clad with insulated metal panels from Metl-Span.

Bluebird Self-Storage

Time is limited and regulations are tight for construction in the Greater Toronto Area, so it was probably no surprise when the developers of the Bluebird Self-Storage project presented architects with a challenge: build an aesthetically appealing facility and do it fast. With the help of insulated metal panels from Kingspan Insulated Panels, both objectives were met.

Bob Richards Toyota – Additions & Renovations

Varco Pruden Buildings’ framing is featured in the additions and renovations that took place at Bob Richards Toyota in North Augusta, SC. The 28,988 sq. ft. auto dealership includes new Rigid Frame construction by Varco Pruden that was added to an existing metal building system.

Boeddeker Park Clubhouse

San Francisco’s Tenderloin area is one of the city’s most densely populated neighborhoods. And while most of its residents live below the poverty line without access to backyards or green space, they do have a Boeddeker Park, a recently redeveloped public space whose features include a clubhouse clad with zinc tiles and roofing from MetalTech-USA of Peachtree City, GA. The material they were fabricated from was from RHEINZINK America Inc., Woburn, MA.

Boeing 787 Dreamliner Final Assembly Plant

Nearly 300,000 sq. ft. of Metl-Span panels clad the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner Final Assembly Plant in North Charleston, SC. The facility includes 1.2 million sq. ft. of usable space for the manufacture of the 787. The 787 is the first commercial airliner made substantially with lightweight carbon composites, which promises to cut fuel costs for airlines.

Boeing Delivery Center - Charleston

Set to open in 2016, the new development at the Boeing Delivery Center in Charleston, SC will be a state-of-the-art aircraft paint facility. The 256,000 square-foot facility - featuring metal products from CENTRIA - is 10 stories high and almost two football fields wide, big enough to house two Boeing 787 Dreamliners simultaneously.

Boeing Delivery Center - Charleston, SC

Insulated metal wall panels offer a range of benefits that include energy efficiency, aesthetics and durability. Those qualities and more factored into the decision to utilize them for the construction of the Boeing Delivery Center in Charleston, SC. Boeing Everett Delivery Center

Beneath the eye-catching exterior of the Boeing New Everett Delivery Center is more than 71,000 sq. ft. of CENTRIA’s MetalWrap™ Series insulated composite backup panels. MetalWrap Series improved the project’s thermal value and provided a second line of defense against the harsh weather conditions of America’s Northwest for the 180,000 sq. ft. Everett, Washington facility.

Bohemian Hangar – Fort Collins/Loveland Airport Hangar

A new storage hangar owned by Bohemian Real Estate II LLC, is situated at the Fort Collins/Loveland Airport in Loveland, CO. The 32,685 sq. ft. facility used a Rigid Frame metal building system by VP Buildings. In addition to serving as an aircraft storage hangar, the facility includes support shops and office space. The 19,500 sq. ft. hangar is surrounded on two sides with the shop/covered parking, while a third side—the main entry facade—contains the office areas and is faced with timber trusses, timber columns and stone to be consistent with the local architectural influences.

Bonny Slope Elementary

Bonny Slope Elementary School, located in Portland, Oregon, began a renovation project in 2008 that would improve the learning environment, as well as the building’s energy efficiency. Because of the steep sloping of the site, a two-story classroom wing was designed to take advantage of the natural light that permeates through the building, along with L-shaped classrooms that create a flexible learning environment. CENTRIA products played a significant role in the project.

Borkholder Tiny Homes

Hurricanes and earthquakes in Haiti inspired Dwayne Borkholder to design a durable, compact and affordable home kit that would help providing quality housing to the masses, quickly and affordably. Borkholder is hoping that someday, his Net Zero post-frame “Tiny Homes,” can provide a humanitarian solution. The Tiny Homes are constructed for strength and energy efficiency, with durable products like the Multi-Rib metal roof and wall panels from McElroy Metal.

Boston Children's Museum

Approximately 25,000 sq. ft. of RHEINZINK® 0.8mm/22 gauge Preweathered Flat-Lock Tiles and perforated panels were used as a key design element for the expansion of the Boston Children’s Museum. The $47 million expansion and renovation project was designed by Cambridge Seven Associates, Inc., Cambridge, MA. The design was conceived to augment the strong, simple mass of the existing warehouse structure while creating a new look for the museum. The design also takes full advantage of the dramatic waterfront site.

Boston Seaport Self Storage

Energy efficiency and appearance. Those two requirements were front and center in the planning of the Boston Seaport Self Storage facility in Beantown's Seaport District. And it was for those reasons the project's architect specified Optimo Smooth™ insulated metal wall panels by Kingspan Insulated Panels - North America.

Boston's Traffic Tunnel Administration Building

Boulder Jewish Community Center

While grounded in tradition, the new 52,444-square-foot Boulder Jewish Community Center in Boulder, CO is a contemporary example of today’s sustainable design. The building’s most visible energy-saving feature is the solar array mounted on a large section of curved metal roofing. The 74.4kW PV array was installed quickly and effectively, and without violating the metal roofing warranty, using the S-5-PVKIT® 2.0 from Colorado Springs, CO-based S-5!.

Boyd County Judicial Center

The consolidation of Boyd County, KY judicial services from several locations—including an aging 100-year-old courthouse—into a modern new Judicial Center has met with overwhelming acceptance. Also receiving kudos, at least from project team members, is the Citadel Envelope 2000® cladding system that covers much of the three-story structure.

Boyne Highlands Resort

Boyne Highlands is a ski resort in Harbor Springs, Michigan, that has undergone a variety of renovations. The ivy-covered walls accent the English country estate charm of the Main Lodge, while a total of 165 accommodations of varying sizes and shapes make for an exciting and unique guest experience. A prominent feature in those renovations is stunning Red metal roofing from Metal Sales Manufacturing Corp. The Vertical Seam panels, formed from 24-gauge steel, feature 18"-wide coverage with a concealed clip, standing seam design.
