Brookside Elementary School

The architectural firms involved in the design and construction of Brookside Elementary School in Indianapolis, IN, both agree that it took some effort to convince the school board to go with a contemporary design for the new 90,000 sq. ft. facility. David Franklin, principal with Domain Architecture, the associate firm on the project, acknowledges “pushing for a contemporary design” and claims the new school is “by far the most interesting of the ten new schools funded by the bond issue.” A highlight of the design is two prominent canopies wrapped with Citadel Panel 20 MCM panels.

Brookwood Women's Medical Center

The Brookwood Women’s Medical Center in Birmingham is the first hospital in Alabama devoted entirely to women. Designed exclusively to meet the needs of women and infants, the new 121,000 sq. ft. facility features 19 labor and delivery rooms, one water-birth suite, four operating rooms and 42 private mother-and-baby rooms with modern amenities.Incorporated into the design of the hospital's exterior was more than 14,000 square feet of Bright Silver Omega-Lite ACM wall panels by Laminators Incorporated.

Brown Residence

Copper has a way of standing out, especially when first installed. And it does on the addition to a renovated home in Cambridge, MA. The 1,600 sq. ft. of metal was manufactured by Revere Copper of Rome, NY; supplied by Sheet Metal Supply (SMS) of Grayslake, IL; and installed by Natural Metal Associates (NMA) of Mont Vernon, NH.

Bucksmont Indoor Sports

Located in Hatfield, PA, Bucksmont Indoor Sports is a 73,200 sq. ft. facility that benefited from the use of a custom metal building by Star Building Systems because of the project’s large clear span requirements. The Star builder was Schlosser Steel Buildings, Inc., Hatfield, PA. The steel erector was Branning Steel Erectors, Inc., Souderton, PA. The engineer of record was Schlosser Steel Engineering, Inc., Hatfield, PA.

Buerger Center For Advanced Pediatric Care

In July 2015, the Buerger Center for Advanced Pediatric Care opened as the newest addition to The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia campus. Designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects and FKP Architects, the 12-story, ambulatory care center is the focus of the new South Campus. Its curving curtainwall systems feature Valspar’s high-performance Fluropon® coating systems in nine bold colors.

Buescher Hall, East Central College Administration Building Renovation

Located on the historic East Central College campus, the newly renovated Buescher Hall - featuring metal products from CENTRIA - previously served as the institution’s library. Established in 1968, East Central College is a two-year institution that serves a wide variety of students in the Union, Mo. area.

Buffalo Thunder Resort

The spectacular new Buffalo Thunder Resort, located 12 miles north of Santa Fe, NM, is designed to be a Four-Star destination and includes a 150,000 sq. ft. Las Vegas style casino, a 390-room Hilton Santa Fe North hotel and complete luxury and conference amenities. Sited on 587 acres, the resort is owned by the Pueblo of Pojoaque. Approximately 7,000 linear feet of Flex-C Trac® was utilized to create spectacular theming elements, soffits and radiuses. The Flex-C Trac system provides an easy way for builders to frame high quality curves by utilizing a simple, flexible metal track or plate for use with wood or metal studs.

Bulletin Building

Designed in 1954 as the home to the historic Philadelphia Bulletin newspaper, the Bulletin Building is an iconic structure in the booming University City neighborhood. Recently, the facility was retrofitted into a state-of-the-art laboratory and retail space. As part of the historic renovation, PPG partnered with Spectrum Metal Finishing to develop and apply a customized PPG Coraflon® powder coating for the structure.

Featured on the homes of this development is 20,000 sq. ft. of Englert metal roofing.

Bunker Hill Community College Health And Wellness Center

Bunker Hill Community College opened in the historic Charlestown neighborhood of Boston, MA, in 1973 and is now the largest community college in Massachusetts. The new Health & Wellness Center is the first new building on the campus in more than 30 years and is one of just two LEED Gold buildings in the 15-campus Massachusetts community college system. The new building features architectural products from CENTRIA.

Burkholder Middle School

More than 40,000 sq. ft. of Citadel’s Envelope 2000® metal composite material was used to highlight the contemporary architecture of the new Burkholder Middle School in Henderson, NV. The panels were installed using the Reveal (RV) System, a field assembled attachment method utilizing perimeter moldings, and finished in Arabian Blue.

Burlington International Airport

Freeman French Freeman Architects of Burlington, VT, has specified more than 60,000 sq. ft. of Omega-Lite aluminum composite metal wall panels for use on both the interior and exterior of the terminal buildings at the Burlington International Airport in Burlington. The project, now in its fourth year, is into its fifth phase.

Burr Ridge Residence

Although situated on a cul de sac with four neighboring homes designed by the same architect, the “contemporary farmhouse” style of the private residence in Burr Ridge, Ill., makes it unique. The owners of the 5,000-sq.-ft. residence voiced a desire that their new residence have a farmhouse look with a metal roof, so their architect created a unique design using Snap-Clad panels by Petersen.

Bush Brothers And Company Visitors Center

Without a doubt, many people have heard of Bush’s Original Baked Beans. But few probably know anything about Bush Brothers and Company or its origins in Chestnut Hill, TN. Sharing that story is the mission behind a newly opened Visitors Center in that town. Featuring a general store, theater and cafe, the facility is topped with Englert Series 1000 standing seam metal roofing.

Butler Tech Bioscience Center

More than a decade in the making and heralded as an innovative step forward, the new Butler Tech Bioscience Center in West Chester, OH is envisioned to be an educational facility in a business campus setting, providing students with educational and employment opportunities side-by-side. The classroom building is clad with a rainscreen wall system featuring ALPOLIC ACM panels finished with red Valspar Valflon® paint.

Butler Transit Authority Intermodal Transit Center

The Butler Transit Authority’s new Intermodal Transit Center was commissioned as the first LEED Certified transit facility in the state of Pennsylvania, achieving a silver rating. Located in Butler, Pennsylvania, the project features Rigid Frame metal systems from Varco Pruden Buildings.

Butterfield Hall Renovation, Michigan State University

Michigan State University’s Butterfield Hall was first opened in 1953. It is named for Kenyon Butterfield, an MSU graduate who also served as President of the university between 1924 and 1928. Starting in 2013, the dormitory facility underwent some major improvements including updates to the interior and exterior of the building – highlighted by metal products from CENTRIA.
