A-House

Inspired by the enduring, metal-paneled roof designs of Europe, homeowner Farhad Kazmian envisioned a curving zinc-tiled roof to crown his custom-built 5,300-square-foot, two-story residence. Known as "A-House" for it's A-shaped soaring peak, the roof's undulating, draping, fantastical "dragon scale" pattern was brought to reality with zinc from RHEINZINK America, Inc.

Life Flight Network Hangar - Lewiston, ID

Life Flight Network provides life-saving transport to seriously ill or injured patients from the scene of an emergency or from one hospital to another. The medical service operates across the Northwest and Intermountain West, including from a hangar at the Lewiston-Nez Perce County Regional Airport in Lewiston, Idaho. Helping get the life-saving craft in and out dependably is a 70'-wide bifold hangar door from Schweiss Doors.

Mike Ilitch School Of Business

Located in the heart of Detroit, District Detroit is the Motor City’s literal epicenter of professional sports and live entertainment. There’s now something in District Detroit for students too: Wayne State University’s new Mike Ilitch School of Business. The building's exterior design is an expression of a modern corporate space, which carries through to the interior with the help of Perforating Imaging Panels from Dri-Design.

100 Hood Park

Metalwërks® played a critical role in the development and construction of 100 Hood Park in Boston, Mass. A mixed-used building that combines retail and commercial space with a four-floor parking garage, 100 Hood Park is one of a number of new structures at a master-planned urban campus that is transforming a section of the city dating back to the 17th century.

Home2 Suites By Hilton - Chicago River North

Home2 Suites by Hilton Chicago River North was designed for travelers who want to maintain their normal routine. It features 206 suites and a range of tech-focused and eco-conscious amenities, while becoming the company’s 300th property. Utilized for its construction were more than 46,000 square feet of insulated metal panels from Metl-Span.

Greenhill School

After a decade of throwing money at ongoing problems, Greenhill School in Addison, Texas, finally decided it was time to deal with leaky roof issues on its gymnasium and natatorium. The solution came from McElroy Metal’s 238T symmetrical standing seam roofing system, installed by Supreme Roofing of Dallas.

There are worse things than being stuck at home during a pandemic, especially for the residents of Elements, a luxury Garden Communities development in Irvine, CA. Decidedly upscale, the high-end apartment complex looks inviting too. Among the products utilized to give it an appearance worthy of its amenities were Omega-Lite ACM panels from Laminators Inc. of Hatfield, PA.

Freeport Residence

Freeport is a village in the town of Hempstead, Nassau County, New York, on the South Shore of Long Island. A settlement since the 1640s, it was once an oystering community and later a resort popular with the New York City theater community. A homeowner in Freeport recently chose ATAS' Techo Tile and PC System for the roof on her new residence.

The new Career and Technical Education Center on the campus of Del Valle High School in Del Valle, Texas, includes some very high-tech features, so school administrators wanted an exterior that would reflect their future-focused programs and maintain its good looks over time. Metal cladding panels from Petersen met both these requirements.

U.S. Olympic Museum

The U.S. Olympic Museum, showcasing the innumerable accomplishments of American athletes at the Games, opened in Colorado Springs, Colorado on July 30, 2020. Lorin anodized aluminum panels were chosen for the project because of their durability, low cost, malleability, environmentally friendly qualities, and color and finish.

Genentech Building 40

There's nothing like a little fresh air. Those charged with designing Building 40 on the campus of pharmaceutical company Genentech in South San Francisco certainly knew that. That's why they integrated three Bifold Designer Doors from Schweiss Doors into the design of an employee cafe to create a pleasant indoor/outdoor dining environment.

Crossing Church

It used to be that churches, no matter the religious affiliation, shared many similar traits – never straying too far from a consistent set of traditional and expected details: stained glass, a steeple, pews, song books, a piano. Today, tradition has given way to reinvention as can be seen at The Crossing Church in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma. It was brought to life with the help of products from Star Building Systems.

The Cannon

Renovating and transforming a 70-year-old manufacturing facility into a contemporary office building with impressive amenities, requires some imagination, careful planning and a lot of communication. The Cannon, an entrepreneurial hub in west Houston, also called for more than 90,000 square feet of insulated metal panels (IMPs) from Metl-Span for walls and roofing.

Boulder Jewish Community Center

While grounded in tradition, the new 52,444-square-foot Boulder Jewish Community Center in Boulder, CO is a contemporary example of today’s sustainable design. The building’s most visible energy-saving feature is the solar array mounted on a large section of curved metal roofing. The 74.4kW PV array was installed quickly and effectively, and without violating the metal roofing warranty, using the S-5-PVKIT® 2.0 from Colorado Springs, CO-based S-5!.

DeWitt Family Science Center

Completed in 2019, the eco-friendly and state-of-the-art DeWitt Family Science Center creates a grand entrance to the campus of Northwestern College in Orange City, IA. The 61,000 sq. ft. facility is clad with metal panels from Quality Metalcrafts, finished in Fluropon® 70% PVDF coil coatings from Sherwin-Williams Coil Coatings. The building serves the health science programs at the college.

OTTO Brewerytown

OTTO Brewerytown is a two-building, two-phase project, with a total of 52 high-end, high-tech condo units. It is located in a rapidly developing neighborhood, just five minutes to Philadelphia’s Center City. ATAS International's custom Grand C panels in three colors - Patina Green, Silversmith and Brilliant Green - in .032 aluminum, and Versa-Seam panels - in Silversmith - in .040 aluminum, were used to create an eye-catching design for the building’s exterior.

Cancer Center At CHI St. Joseph Health

The original standing seam metal roof over the Cancer Center at CHI St. Joseph Health in Bryan, Texas was peppered with white repair material at the seams, in the valleys, at transitions and around penetrations. The new roof - Garland's R-Mer® Loc metal panel system - was carefully and meticulously engineered to ensure complete watertight protection of the 25,000-plus sq. ft. facility.

Mission Health North Tower

CENTRIA®, manufacturer of metal wall and roof panels, played a substantial role in the design of the Mission Health North Tower in Asheville, NC. A $400-million, 12-story facility, the hospital includes 220 patient rooms, a 94-bed emergency room, interventional and cardiac catheterization suites and digital operating rooms.

But it’s also a bucolic, Upstate New York village that prides itself on its own style of quirky, small-town charm. A recently opened affordable-rental project features buildings designed to fit into the area’s rural character, topped by metal roof panels from Petersen.
