Bass Pro Shops Reroof - Pearl, MS

Bass Pro Shops brands itself as a supplier of performance products designed to endure the great outdoors, but at its Pearl, Miss., store, the roof was falling short of that standard. Though it was barely more than 10 years old, the roof’s mix of membrane and metal was already beginning to fail when a severe weather event prompted a reroofing initiative featuring metal panels from Petersen.

Aviatrix USA

The new headquarters for aerospace parts supplier Aviatrix USA features office and warehouse operations that were created with Rigid Frame and Continuous Beam framing from Varco Pruden Buildings. In addition, Varco Pruden's SSR roofing and Vee Rib wall panels were used to clad the exterior of the 17,000 sq. ft. facility in Sherwood, OR.

The needs of many disciplines come together in the Wortman Medical Science Center, a medical professional and education/training building in Pasco, Wash. Designing a building for multiple purposes that reflects the feel of the neighborhood was the task of MMEC Architecture & Interiors, Spokane, Wash. The firm selected SinoCore® by Citadel Architectural Products for a modern aesthetic with low maintenance and inherent durability.

Manitoulin Transport Reroof

Manitoulin Transport operates a busy trucking terminal in Montreal, Quebec, located in a high volume industrial area near the Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport. The original metal roof, which was approximately 50 years old, was replaced with Garland’s R-Mer® Span standing seam panels. The reroof process was completed in 2019.

Lanz Cabinets Hangar

A beautiful new Varco Pruden corporate jet hangar, built by Ordell Construction for Lanz Cabinets of Eugene, OR, features a 76-foot wide by 23-1/2-foot tall hydraulic door from Schweiss Doors. The 9,288-square-foot hangar houses several offices, a kitchen, a meeting room and a fireplace lounge.

Navy Federal Credit Union - St. Marys, GA

The Navy Federal Credit Union is in the middle of a growth spurt that is seeing it build an average of 20 new branches every year. Serving all branches of the U.S. armed forces, along with Department of Defense employees and military veterans, the organization had approximately 8 million customers at the end of 2018. A new branch opened in St. Marys, Ga. - featuring aluminum roofing by Petersen - is emblematic of the influence Southern coastal design has had on NFCU’s newer facilities in the region.

The new Habitat ReStore facility in Kenner, Louisiana features Rigid Frame construction by Varco Pruden Buildings. A well-designed school should foster a functional learning and work environment for students and staff while being a positive design element for the community. Amon Creek Elementary is the latest addition to the Kennewick School District in Richland, WA. The design team at MMEC Architecture, Spokane, WA, turned to Citadel Architectural Products’ Envelope 2000® RainScreen (RS) metal composite material (MCM) panels to create an inviting school with defined spaces.

Mountain View Corporate Center

To attract and retain high-tech tenants at the Mountain View Corporate Center, the development's new owners updated three concrete buildings to include attractive modern metal facades. The 23,000 sq. ft. of Copper Anodize aluminum wall panels utilized on the project were fabricated at the Fontana, CA plant of Morin Corporation, anodized by Wausau, WI-based Linetec and then shipped directly to the job site for installation by Sheet Metal Systems (SMS) of Hollister, CA.

Salk Middle School

With energy efficiency and aesthetics both important considerations, the designers of the new Salk Middle School in Spokane, WA, chose products from Kingspan Insulated Panels - North America as major components of construction. The project's first phase of construction utilized Kingspan's BENCHMARK Designwall 2000 panels while the second phase incorporated the company's KarrierPanel backup wall system under corrugated siding.

Venice, CA is a buzzing beach town with its own unique vibe. Not far from the free-spirited Venice Boardwalk, Muscle Beach, funky shops, stylish boutiques and foodie hotspots, is a quaint, new-construction modernistic home designed by architect Matthew Royce. This envy-inducing split-level rental home, which is also owned by the architect, melds indoor living with outdoor space through the incorporation of a custom-made Schweiss one-piece hydraulic designer door.
