Wolfe Center For The Arts

The new Wolfe Center For The Arts at Bowling Green State University provides a space on campus where the arts can flourish and robust interdisciplinary collaborations can take root. Rising dramatically from a flat site, the building’s metal panels – supplied by CENTRIA - and tilted geometry have introduced a completely new aesthetic to an otherwise traditional group of campus buildings.

Carizma Motors

In October 2013, construction was completed on the Carizma Motors used car dealership in Lubbock, Texas. The walls of the new facility feature metal cladding from MBCI.

St. Catherine’s Church

In many of Europe's major cities, it's quite common to find zinc roofs that have been in service for more than 100 years. Famed German architect Karl-Friedrich Schinkel (1781-1841) used zinc extensively for roofing and building ornamentation on several historical buildings and palaces that still stand today.

Nacarato Volvo

Rigid Frame metal building systems by Varco Pruden Buildings are prominently featured as part of the Nacarato Volvo facility in La Vergne, TN. The 80,270 sq. ft. truck sales and service center is comprised of two buildings. The main building - housing sales, parts and service operations - measures 56,750 sq. ft., while a 23,520 sq. ft. body repair and paint shop building is also situated on 12 acres of paved area.

Village Links

The Village Links, Glen Ellyn, IL, is a premier municipal golf course. The course has hosted 42 USGA and PGA Tour qualifying events. A $5.3 million renovation of the highly-ranked course and clubhouse facility is the most extensive the club has ever undertaken. The project included a 7,500 sq. ft. addition and the renovation of the existing 8,000 sq. ft. building, featuring metal roofing and soffits from Petersen Aluminum.

Farrar Green Home

A Metal Sales™ roof system was chosen to top an ambitious Net-Zero building. Rhonda and Nigel Farrar chose to work with Metal Sales on their new 3,000-square-foot home in Escondido, CA. The home, commonly referred to as the Farrar Green Home, overlooks beautiful Lake Hodges and was designed to be a model for green design by utilizing the latest commercially available green building products.

Franciscan Medical Building Parking Garage

The engaging graphics at the street level of the new parking garage at the Franciscan Medical Building at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA provide a warm welcome to arriving patients and visitors. The garage is linked to the new five-story medical office building by a skybridge. The larger-than-life people images and graphics on the exterior of the 819-stall garage were created using Dri-Design’s Perforated Imaging technology.

B & D Dairy Farms

B & D Dairy Farms in Pound, Wisconsin has a new rotary milking parlor to add to their extensive dairy farm, thanks to Keller Inc., an American Buildings Company (ABC) Authorized Builder. The new parlor enhances the speed of the milking process for the large herd of cattle, as well as gives the employees extended office space and a new mechanical room.

Humane Society Of St. Lucie County

St. Lucie County, Florida was in dire need for a shelter to accommodate the area’s increasing stray animal population, so they turned to Richard K. Davis Construction Corporation and the cost efficiency of pre-engineered metal. The resulting 13,000-square foot shelter showcases a Ceco Building Systems rigid frame metal framing system as well as metal wall and roof panels.

Mansfield Bus Station

Over 1,800 sq. meters of Kalzip aluminum standing seam panels and a similar quantity of Kalzip liner and decking sheets have been installed on Mansfield, UK’s impressive new bus station and link-bridge. The Kalzip roofing sheets together with Kalzip planking for the soffits and an array of bespoke Kalzip aluminum fabrications were all installed by Teamkal contractor, Met-Clad Contracts Ltd.

Wealthy Street Transit Operations Center

Located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, The Rapid (Interurban Transit Partnership) is a growing transportation authority that serves the Grand Rapids metropolis and surrounding regions. The new Wealthy Street Transit Operations Center, which is LEED® Silver certified, is the city’s latest project in its sustainable transportation system initiative. CENTRIA architectural metal products are featured on the facility.

USC PS1 Parking Structure

On gameday, when the University of Southern California Trojan men’s and women’s basketball teams battle it out at the Galen Center, upwards of 10,000 fans pack the arena to cheer them on. In between games at this recently opened multi-use facility, located on the campus' west side, volleyball, concerts and many other major events are held. They too draw large crowds.

Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal

Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia is the world’s busiest, hosting more than 90 million travelers per year. When it came to designing the new Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal, planners wanted to give passengers a pleasant respite from the stresses of air travel, while also functioning as a wayfinding system that helped people navigate its 1.2 million sq. ft. of space. Coatings from PPG are displayed prominently in the new terminal.

Tacoma Recovery And Transfer Center

One of the largest and most eco-friendly clear-span buildings in Washington state features more than 8,000 square feet of metal wall and soffit panels from Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation. The 83,590-square-foot Tacoma Recovery and Transfer Center in Tacoma, WA receives, sorts and transfers municipal solid waste and separates recyclable materials.

UMass Lowell North Campus Parking Garage

More than 1,400 Dri-Design panels containing 3.3 million perforations were utilized to create an abstract design for one side of the new University of Massachusetts Lowell North Campus Parking Garage in Lowell, MA.
