South Texas Research Facility

The South Texas Research Facility is the newest addition to the University of South Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. The length of approximately three football fields, this $150 million facility provides an additional 200,000 square feet of medical research space. Featured in the design are architectural metal products from CENTRIA.

Brady Storage Solutions

Located in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, the Brady Storage Solutions facility consists of a two-story heated storage building and seven single-story cold storage buildings. Featuring metal products from American Buildings Company, the project measures approximately 46,000 sq. ft.

Gordon State College Student Success Center

Officials at Gordon State College in Barnesville, GA were looking to improve and expand on one of their campus’ key buildings, the Student Success Center. Working with a Smyrna, GA-based architect, The Facility Group, a plan was developed to replace 18,000 sq. ft. of roofing on the original building, and to create a 17,500 sq. ft. addition. For both aspects, products from Firestone Building Products were utilized.

Office Mart

Picard Steel Erectors (PSE) of Breaux Bridge, LA completed a metal-over-metal roof retrofit for Office Mart, an office supply business in New Iberia, LA, using Roof Hugger, Inc. sub-purlins. The overall project was to re-roof the combination of a Mex-Tex building constructed in the mid-1960’s and a Star building built in the 1980’s.

Slotnick Residence

The 4,800 sq. ft. Slotnick residence in Glencoe, IL is the first new home in Chicago’s North Shore area to achieve LEED Platinum certification, the highest LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating possible. It's also one of the few LEED homes to take a non-modernist approach to its exterior. Metal roofing by Petersen is featured.

Cooper Family Medical Building

The Cooper Family Medical Building in Bradenton, Florida is an 11,000 square-foot single story facility designed to reflect a tropical West Indies-style resort, using varied exterior wall materials, highly detailed exterior trim, trellises, open trusses, wood columns and last but certainly not least, standing seam metal roofing from Englert Inc. of Perth Amboy, NJ.

Simcoe County Administrative Centre

With its engaging design and energy efficient features, the Simcoe County Administrative Centre in Midhurst, Ontario is the pre-eminent public service building in Simcoe County. Its status was earned with the recent construction of a 70,000 sq. ft. addition clad in large part with titanium zinc from RHEINZINK America Inc.

South Shore Bone And Joint Center

The South Shore Bone and Joint Center is one of the latest improvements to the South Shore Hospital Health System. A joint venture of the South Shore Hospital and South Shore Orthopedics, this new outpatient facility will serve more than 700,000 residents in the southeastern Massachusetts region. Architectural metal products from CENTRIA played a key role in the facility’s design.

The owner of Kossen Equipment wanted a majestic building to serve as the company’s headquarters in Richland, MS. Playing a key role in the creation of that facility was Continuous Beam framing from Varco Pruden Buildings.

Muirfield Village Golf Club Television Studio

Muirfield Village Golf Club near Columbus, Ohio was designed by Jack Nicklaus and it's home to an annual PGA Tour golf event. To accommodate television crews, officials wanted to enclose space for a studio on an upper clubhouse terrace - which was accomplished with insulated metal panels from Ceco Building Systems.

Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School Alumni Hall

The Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School in Midland, PA has made a significant addition to its campus with the construction of the new Alumni Hall. The 29,000 sq. ft. facility includes state-of-the-art music and multi-media rooms plus a dining hall large enough to accommodate the school’s 600-plus enrollment in two shifts. Playing a major role in the addition’s modern look was Citadel Architectural Products. Approximately 15,500 sq. ft. of the company’s Envelope 2000® metal composite panels are utilized on the project.

Dover Air Force Base Chapel

The new Dover Air Force Base Chapel in Dover, DE was designed so that the materials and equipment satisfy functional and operational requirements, and exceed minimum acceptable quality including aesthetics, durability, maintainability and reliability specified in the RFP. The project features products from American Buildings Company.

Jekyll Island Convention Center

The beautiful new 128,000 sq. ft. Jekyll Island Convention Center is the only beachfront meeting facility of its kind on the east coast south of New Jersey. Featuring 78,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, the center is literally located among the sand dunes. Petersen Aluminum’s PAC-CLAD roof and soffit panels are featured on the project.

Colorado Mountain Home

The exterior of a beautiful mountain home near Grand Junction, CO features a striking combination of natural materials including actual 14” diameter logs and RHEINZINK roof panels. The 3,400 sq. ft. residence doubles as a fishing lodge for the owners and features life-like images of a rainbow trout and cutthroat trout pounded from RHEINZINK and mounted on the exterior.

Mattahunt Elementary School

Originally built in the 1960’s, the exterior envelope of Mattahunt Elementary School in Boston was failing. In considering repairs, the Boston Public Facilities Department sought a new, long-term, high-performance, cost-effective building envelope that would express the education aspirations of the school. The solution was found with a new Dri-Design Rainscreen Metal Cladding System.

Ft. Jackson Commissary Retrofit Roof

Southeast Roofing Solutions (SRS) of Statesboro, GA has a reputation for performing on numerous military installations in the area. In early 2013, they were awarded the contract to reroof the commissary building at Ft. Jackson, SC. Since the commissary had an existing metal roof that had reached the end of its service life, SRS elected to recover the building roof using specially fabricated steel sub-purlins supplied by Roof Hugger, Inc.

Performing Arts Center, Kent State University At Tuscarawas

As part of Kent State University's eight-campus network, Kent State Tuscarawas in New Philadelphia, Ohio offers all the resources of a major research university in a small college atmosphere. The new Performing Arts Center (PAC) at Kent State Tuscarawas is a 50,000 sq. ft. sculptural statement of educational and artistic expression, featuring products from CENTRIA.

Paul F. Cullum Tower

The North Bergen, N.J., Housing Authority’s Paul F. Cullum Tower was built in 1972 to provide homes for low-income senior citizens and disabled individuals. While the 15-floor tower still met its primary goal, its exterior façade had faded and looked utilitarian at best. That was addressed with an exterior retrofit, completed in July 2013, which included the installation of Alucobond® aluminum composite material by 3A Composites USA.

Hugg & Hall Mobile Storage

Located in Little Rock, AR, the 8,000 sq. ft. Hugg & Hall Mobile Storage office and shop facility is a showcase of metal construction products, featuring exposed metal building framing, metal roofing and metal wall panels by Varco Pruden Buildings. Steel shipping containers – products marketed by Hugg & Hall - were also key elements used in the construction of the structures.
