Hilton Garden Inn - Santa Rosa

The Santa Rosa, CA, Hilton Garden Inn is located approximately one mile from the new Sonoma County Airport. The hotel features 90 rooms, a small fitness center, indoor swimming pool and hot tub, 1,000-square-foot conference area and restaurant. Chosen by the architectural firm to meet the building’s design plan, the Hilton Garden Inn features 29,000 square feet of Firestone UNA-CLAD™ UC-4 .032” aluminum metal roofing.

Central Community College Health And Science Education Center

The new Central Community College Health and Science Education Center in Grand Island, NE is the latest addition to the college’s expanding campus. Providing traditional classrooms, lecture halls and laboratories, the 44,000 sq. ft. facility features Dri-Design metal rainscreen wall panels on the building's exterior and then matching panels inside. In both places the .080” aluminum panels were finished in Crystal Ice.

Robert F. Kennedy Community Schools Complex

In addition to a few prized vestiges of the historic hotel that formerly occupied the site, the new Robert F. Kennedy Community Schools K-12 complex in Los Angeles is comprised of three grade-level buildings designed as part of a cohesive campus. One of the featured cladding materials selected for the project was RHEINZINK®. The material was used for both roofing and walls, providing a playful contrast to a material collage of painted plaster and perforated metals in a palette that combines white, charcoal gray, bright orange and yellow-green.

Formosa 1140

Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation, a premier nationwide provider of metal panels for the building and construction industry, created a dramatic metallic façade for the new Formosa 1140 multi-residential unit in the heart of West Hollywood, CA. 12,900 square feet of Metal Sales’ perforated T16-E panels outfit the facility, creating a bright, unique and multi-layered checkerboard of sustainable materials.

Killeen Police Headquarters

The new 80,000 sq. ft. police headquarters in Killeen, TX enables the city to consolidate operations from four scattered buildings into one location. The $22 million facility more than doubles the department’s previous space and includes training areas, community rooms, and office and administrative space. Designed to complement the rural setting, building materials include metal panels from Petersen.

Sigurdson Hangar

With more than 25 years of experience as a crop duster, Rich Sigurdson of Olivia, MN knows a thing or two about farming. And he knows a bit about hangar construction too. That's why he designed his new hangar to include Schweiss bifold doors at both ends. The doors provide the reliability Sigurdson was looking for, while also adding to the efficiency of his business.

Connecticut Science Center

The Connecticut Science Center engages everyone who walks through its doors, capturing the excitement and wonder of science, as well as embodying the region’s commitment to education and cultural enrichment. Located in Hartford, CT, the 154,000-square-foot structure is part of the Adriaen’s Landing development, which includes a new convention center, a major hotel and several public attractions along the Connecticut River. Metal panels by CENTRIA played a key role in the science center's design.

Diamond Jo Casino

Diamond Jo Casino is a state-of-the-art casino and entertainment facility located at the Port of Dubuque in Iowa. The complex includes almost 1,000 slot machines, a bowling alley, restaurants, bars, retail stores, an entertainment theatre and parking ramp. The casino features 35,000 square feet of 24-gauge UNA-CLAD™ UC-4 no-clip standing seam metal roofing, soffit panels and trim stock. All the metal was supplied with a Hemlock Green paint finish.

Timberline Learning Center

The Timberline Learning Center is the new childcare facility designed to provide affordable, quality care for 60 full-time children in the town of Breckenridge, CO. Since a nearby childcare center was closing soon, scheduling became a top priority for everyone involved with the project. Other project priorities included safety and security, sustainable design and budget. With the project priorities in mind, Omega-Lite, an aluminum composite panel manufactured by Laminators Inc., was selected as one of the exterior cladding materials for the facility.

Constitution Center Courtyard

One of the amenities of the renovated Constitution Center office building in Washington, DC is a one-acre garden courtyard designed to provide relaxation space for tenants. A focal point of the courtyard is a 4,300 sq. ft. compound-radius wall clad with RHEINZINK® Flat Lock Panels. The 1mm, 20-gauge Pre-weathered Blue-Gray panels were fabricated by MetalTech—USA, Peachtree City, GA, and installed by Prospect Waterproofing, Sterling, VA.

Shrimp Boat Restaurant

Architect Bayne Collins was thumbing through a book on old Cuba when he spotted the picture of a 19th Century Cuban cigar factory that would ultimately become the inspiration for his design of a new oceanfront restaurant building in Panama City, Florida called the Shrimp Boat. Among the materials used for the building's construction was jobsite-rollformed Englert metal roofing.

Center For Advanced Medicine & Surgery

St. Joseph Mercy Health Center in Canton, MI has opened the Center For Advanced Medicine & Surgery. The 53,000 sq. ft. outpatient facility offers a variety of advanced services - some of which are normally found only at full-service hospitals. Several Petersen panel profiles were selected to meet the design objectives for the $20 million project.

Convent Hill

In 1959 the Milwaukee Housing Authority built Convent Hill, a public housing complex for low-income senior citizens. Today, on that same site stands the new Convent Hill, a 10-story complex of 120 apartments, two retail spaces on the ground floor, a neighborhood computer lab and a Milwaukee County meal program open to those who live in the Milwaukee, WI, urban neighborhood at which Convent Hill is the center. Featured on the new facility are architectural metal products from CENTRIA.

Nebraska Public Power District Operations Center

The new Nebraska Public Power District Operations Center in Norfolk, NE consolidates four previously separate locations into one highly sustainable, green facility. The 87,000 sq. ft. building has achieved LEED Gold certification. Featured on the building's exterior are 15,000 sq. ft. of Dri-Design rainscreen metal wall panels. Most of the panels were fabricated from zinc while the remainder are aluminum.

Port Of Baltimore Cruise Terminal

The Maryland Port Authority recently completed a metal-over-metal retrofit of their Port Of Baltimore Cruise Terminal facility. The 65,000 square foot building, located at the Port of Baltimore in Baltimore, Maryland, accommodates passengers embarking on vacations booked with Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Carnival Cruise Lines to exotic ports of call. The project features metal roofing by Metal-Fab Manufacturing (Met-Fab) and factory-notched sub-purlins supplied by Roof Hugger, Inc.

PNC Triangle Park

Triangle Park is a calm oasis among the hustle and bustle of Downtown Pittsburgh, PA. It features handsome benches under a stainless steel canopy to provide shade and protection from rain and snow. The park, which opened in late 2009, is the result of donations by two Pittsburgh area companies, Contrarian Metal Resources in Allison Park, and ATI, Downtown.

Capitol Cove Condominiums

Adjacent to the Providence Amtrak Station and tied directly to the Riverwalk pedestrian system, the Capitol Cove Condominium development boasts 750,000 sq. ft. of mixed-use residential, office and retail space in the heart of the Capital District in Providence, RI. Among the products used to create the building's modern, aesthetically pleasing look were Dove Grey Omega-Lite metal wall panels from Laminators Incorporated.

Oakland Community College Southfield Campus Addition

A major addition on the Southfield Campus of Oakland Community College in Southfield, MI, provides much-needed classroom and administrative space. To blend the new construction with an existing building, the project's architect finished the exterior of the addition with 28,000 sq. ft. of Metl-Span CF30 Architectural Flat panels. The 2" panels, installed horizontally, were finished in Regal White and Cool Metallic Silver.

Clark Middle School

The new Clark Middle School is located on an urban-oriented 23.75 acre site in the Mt. View section of Anchorage, Alaska. The area had experienced hard times in recent years, but is now an integral part of the city's revitalization program, situated in an up-and-coming arts and cultural district. Playing a key role in the design of the new school were architectural metal products from CENTRIA.

Santiago Canyon Community College

Santiago Canyon College is one of the newest community colleges in California. Located in Orange, CA, the college serves approximately 10,000 students in a state-of-the-art learning environment. The college’s new 60,000 sq. ft. science center combines traditional lecture spaces, faculty offices and high-tech laboratories for chemistry, biology, physics and other sciences. The two-structure building is clad with two types of metal panel systems from Citadel Architectural Products.
