Localized repairs had worked to a point, but the owners of a 100+ unit apartment building in London, Ontario, Canada were looking for a permanent solution to the deterioration they were seeing in their structure's exterior. And with the KS Granitstone insulated wall panel system from Kingspan, that's exactly what they got.

587 Avonhead Road, a 360,000 square foot industrial building in Mississauga, Ontario, stands out not just for its impressive size, but also for its sustainability. As one of the first design-certified net-zero carbon industrial buildings in Ontario, it combines both aesthetic appeal and eco-friendly features, making it a leader in sustainable design. The building's exterior envelope features insulated metal wall panels from Kingspan Insulated Panels.

Anything worth doing is worth doing right. The five-story parking garage at 112 East 5th Street in Austin, Texas was treated with custom colors on perforated façade panels from McElroy Metal. The install required a little extra care to ensure the color pattern was right.

The design goal for the 620 Veterans Boulevard Radius Apartments was to present a luxurious residential community through the use of a variety of products, including metal wall panels from Morin, A Kingspan Group Company.

Designed by JKR Partners, Philadelphia, 777 South Broad plays a pivotal role in the transformation of the Avenue of the Arts to a true residential neighborhood. The project brings together the flavor of South Philadelphia with nearby City Center style. Featured on the exterior of the five-story, $70 million property were ProCore metal wall panels from Citadel Architectural Products.

Banker Wire collaborated with architects in Detroit, MI to deliver a custom metal mesh system for the renovation and historical preservation of a more than 90-year-old parking garage in the heart of the city.

As part of a larger rebranding effort, Dominium Management Services LLC sought to modernize the exterior of 808 Berry Apartments, a 20-year-old complex located in St. Paul, Minnesota. The redesign focused on creating a welcoming and impactful entrance for residents and visitors alike, which was accomplished with the help of a Kingspan Light + Air Briteway® polycarbonate canopy.

An 18,000 sq. ft. kidney dialysis center and doctors’ office complex in Westminster, CO features an entranceway clad with Omega-Lite® ACM panels from Laminators Inc. The 2,010 sq ft of Bright Silver Omega-Lite panels utilized on the project were supplied by Riddell and Company of Englewood, CO. The panels were fabricated on-site and installed by Sondrup Sheet Metal using color matched reveal moldings.

The work environment has never been so unconventional. Returning to the office after the pandemic might be a competitive process as employers look for spaces that connect with employees uniquely. In Austin, Texas, a 5-story office building at 901 E. 6th Street does this while reflecting its residential surroundings. The design team selected Dri-Design Tapered Series Panels to create a unique structure that helps tenants feel at home while at work.

Located in the New Orleans, Louisiana business district, 930 Poydras was designed as an urban, high-rise residential apartment complex with ground-level retail spaces for added amenities and an improved streetscape. The 462,000 sq. ft. facility, including 8,700 sq. ft. of retail space, features Formawall wall systems from CENTRIA.

One of the challenges in redeveloping a former industrial complex on Long Island in New York was coming up with a look that would attract a broad range of tenants. With Englert 2000 pre-weathered Galvalume wall panels, that requirement was met.

When you think of a hog crib you don’t think in terms of 30,000 square feet with three 78’ x 22’ doors. But this hog pen houses the Arkansas National Guard 188th Fighter Wing’s A-10 Warthogs, who also go by the name “The Flying Razorbacks,” for maintenance. Built by SSi, Inc., of Fort Smith, Ark.—using metal building framing from Ceco Building Systems—the A-10 Composite Maintenance Hangar project had a number of special requirements.

Nestled among the lush orchards of central Florida stands the pride of Jim Gearhart, owner of AAA American Storage in Groveland. His 87,000 sq. ft. multi-level self-storage operation boasts some of the latest innovations and equipment available today for safe, secure, and efficient material handling and storage. The facility includes a VRC material lift purchased from AME Vertical in Troy, MI, a long-time representative of Wildeck® products manufactured in Waukesha, WI.

Metal Sales™ roof and wall panels balance the old and new at the AB&W Building at 157 Washington Street in Boston’s Dorchester neighborhood. The former auto showroom and candy factory site was redeveloped as a mixed-use building with retail and housing units.

Situated in Elkhart, Indiana, a new office and warehouse operation for ABF was created with the use of metal building systems from Varco Pruden Buildings. The 227,358 sq. ft. structure utilizes Continuous Beam and WideBay framing systems. Varco Pruden also supplied its SSR roofing formed from Galvalume-coated steel, along with Vee Rib walls panels in Cool Zinc Gray color.
