Argo At Tempe Town

The unique architectural design of the Argo at Tempe Town apartment complex included 90-foot “sails” as part of the structure. The Rain Screen attachment system with the Envelope 2000® panels from Citadel Architectural Products ensured a durable, watertight and attractive detail, welcoming residents and visitors.

The Aria is the centerpiece of the brand new CityCenter Las Vegas urban resort development – the largest privately funded construction project in the history of the United States.

Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences And The Arts Creativity And Innovation Complex

Thanks in part to the largest grant in the school's history, the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts has completed the $4.7 million Creativity and Innovation Complex in Hot Springs, AR. The 21,000-square-foot building is clad with four different McElroy Metal cladding products that feature premium coil-applied paint coating from Sherwin-Williams.

Arlington Capital View Renaissance and Residence Inn

Two of Marriott International’s newest hotel offerings are the first hospitality industry projects in Arlington County, Virginia to earn LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. The $119 million, 14-story Arlington Capital View Renaissance and Residence Inn were the first new hotels to be built in Crystal City in the past decade. Featured on the exterior of the two-hotels-under-one-roof development were sleek metal wall panels fabricated from Alcoa Architectural Products' Reynobond® ACM.

Arlington Community Academy

A sparkling faith-based private elementary school has opened its doors in Jacksonville, Fla. The front elevation of the Arlington Community Academy features a bright blue splash of color that creates an iconic, welcoming appearance. Forming the blue splash is approximately 3,000 sq. ft. of Petersen’s Precision Series HWP wall panels front-and-center on the building.

Armed Forces Reserve Center

Located on a 12.7-acre site in Farmingdale, NY is the new four-story, 200,000 sq. ft. Armed Forces Reserve Center. Designed for joint use by the Army National Guard, Army Reserve, Marine Corp Reserve, and Navy Reserve, the AFRC is authorized to accommodate 1,775 enlisted personnel and 155 officers. Featured on its exterior is approximately 75,000 sq. ft. of fire-rated ALPOLIC aluminum composite material from Mitsubishi Plastics Composites America Inc.

Army Reserve Center – Tallahassee, FL

The new 100-member Army Reserve Center in Tallahassee, Fla., doesn’t look like a typical military installation. The 23,000 sq. ft. building, highlighted by roofing from Petersen, offers a contemporary appearance that is in keeping with today’s modern Army.

Arrendale Amphitheater At Piedmont College

Sculpted to match the gentle slopes of a bordering wetlands preserve, the canopy of the new Arrendale Amphitheater at Piedmont College cuts a striking profile against the wilderness directly behind it. Considered the pièce de résistance of the college’s master plan for the arts, the new amphitheater was designed by Armentrout Roebuck Matheny Consulting Group of Athens, GA, and is clad on its underside with Reynobond® ACM from Alcoa Architectural Products.

Art Gallery of Alberta

With a free-form ribbon of stainless steel weaving its way throughout the design, a recent addition to the Art Gallery of Alberta is itself a work of art. Known by many as the Aurora Borealis, the captivating metal ribbon was created using Contrarian Metal Resources’ non-directional, low-gloss, uniformly textured InvariMatte®-finish stainless steel.

Artech Condominium Parking Garage

Ohio Gratings, Inc. (OGi) provided its VisiScreen aluminum louver product for the Artech Condominium project in Florida. The primary application for the material was a functional and decorative grille system on an 800-foot-long, 5-story parking garage designed to resemble a cruise ship. The VisiScreen material allowed for a 60% visual block and deflection of car headlights from adjacent condo buildings while allowing the parking garage to be ventilated naturally with 65% open air flow provided by the louvers.

Arthur J. Altmeyer Federal Building

Uniformity across large surfaces, price stability and product availability in a time of supply chain uncertainty were all factors in the decision by designers to go with Rigidized® Metals' InvariMatte® micro texture finish on aluminum for the exterior cladding of the newly renovated Arthur J. Altmeyer Federal Building in Woodlawn, MD.

Arundel Mills

Ohio Gratings Inc. provided its Aluminum LiteBar grating for use as sunscreens above the windows of the Arundel Mills Building in Baltimore, MD. The 19SGL14 2-1/2” x 3/16” product is a strong, lightweight and cost-effective solution for sunscreening applications. Additional applications for OGI bar grating products include entranceways, vent grilles, handrail panels, ceiling tiles, security screens and visual barriers.

ASI Limited Headquarters

When ASI Limited President Ken Smith learned about Kalzip’s perforated aluminium facade, he realized it was something that would work well on the new headquarters building his company was planning. ASI Limited, located near Indianapolis, IN, is a building enclosure specialist and the new structure was envisioned as a showpiece of the company's capabilities. It was also meant to reflect the company's forward-thinking philosophy. Kalzip became instrumental in fulfilling both goals.

Asmus Farm Supply Fleet Maintenance Building

In the late 1950s, Harvey Asmus began touting a new way to farm. Chemical weed control was not a foreign concept, but it hadn't been adopted by the masses. Soon enough though, local farmers came around and Asmus' business venture, Asmus Farm Supply, was off and running. More than a half-century later, AFS is still going strong. Helping keep the business running smoothly is a new fleet maintenance building, equipped with a hydraulic door from Schweiss Doors.

Aspen Art Museum

At nearly 8,000 feet above sea level, Aspen, Colorado, is renowned for ski slopes that rise seemingly from the heart of the town’s central business district. Echoing these snowy and forested surroundings is the new Aspen Art Museum. Completed in August 2014, it features myriad metal products finished by Linetec using Fluropon® paint coatings from Valspar.

Aspire Food Group Indoor Cricket Farm

Billions of people around the world rely on insects for protein, and with current and future demand in mind, Aspire Food Group has created a farm unlike any other. Inside the 165,000 sq. ft. facility, located in London, Ontario, crickets are raised and processed as protein powder--up to two billion per year. Utilized for the facility's exterior envelope and interior walls are insulated metal panels from Kingspan Insulated Panels North America.

Asplane LLC Medical Office Facility

Physician investors formed Asplane, LLC to acquire and develop a commercial property anchored by a medical office building to serve their pediatric and obstetrics/gynecology practices in Marion, Indiana. The site is large enough to accept a restaurant and retail projects such as maternity shops and a children’s clothier, where mothers can browse while awaiting their appointments. The design/build project led by Felderman Design Build, a Butler Builder® in Fort Wayne, demonstrates the potential for systems construction to be applied to image-conscious office facilities. In this case, Butler Manufacturing Company supplied two, Widespan™ structures for the opposing wings that were combined with conventional framing to create the center tower element.

ASU Walter Cronkite School Of Journalism And Mass Communication

Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation helped create a stunning metal envelope for Arizona State University’s distinguished Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication in Phoenix, AZ. The 223,000 square foot, six-story, multi-level facility is home to offices, retail space, restaurants, 17 media-equipped classrooms, seven computer labs, and seven professional newsrooms. The building also houses one of the country’s largest PBS stations, KAET Channel Eight.

Athena Gun Club

Athena Gun Club in Houston, TX is one of the largest facilities of its kind in the United States at 38,000 square feet. This premier shooting facility, which was originally an office/warehouse, used an assortment of MBCI's wall and soffit panels to achieve a contemporary face lift. PDG Architects worked with CYAD Construction to create the upscale space that the CEO and co-founder John Boyert envisioned.
