The new home for the Homewood Board of Education Central Office in Alabama is a modern 14,500 sq. ft. structure, which marks the first phase of a long-term development plan on a 24-acre site in a suburb of Birmingham. The facility features a variety of PAC-CLAD metal products from Petersen.

Chemeketa Community College Building 20

Building 20 at Chemeketa Community College in Salem, OR, has created a haven for its technical education program. The structure, designed to LEED Gold guidelines, has an exterior that reflects the building’s technologically driven purpose with a high-tech feel created using Dri-Design Wall Panels.

Valravn Roller Coaster Station

With a name based on a supernatural raven from Danish folklore, Cedar Point's Valravn in Sandusky, Ohio is the tallest (223 feet), fastest (75 mph) and longest (3,415 feet) dive roller coaster in the world. The Valravn Roller Coaster Station design incorporated several aluminum panel profiles in three colors from ATAS International.

Milton & Catherine Hershey Conservatory

Hershey’s chocolate is one of America's most iconic products. And the legacy of Milton Hershey is alive and thriving in Hershey, PA, the town that bears his name. Tourists flock to Hershey for many reasons, including to visit the historic Hershey Gardens. A new conservatory at the Gardens is built to the same quality as those that preceded it. It is topped with a metal roof whose longevity and good looks are assured thanks to a premium Valspar paint finish.

Radisson RED

Art, music and fashion serve as inspirations for the new Radisson RED lifestyle select brand developed by the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, which opened its first U.S. location in Minneapolis in November 2016 as the brand’s first new build and prototype design. Aluminum composite material panels from 3A Composites USA are featured.

Streetscape Developments Inc. of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada chose insulated metal panels from Metl-Span to achieve its goal of constructing a unique new office building that would not only appropriately reflect the company’s building philosophy, but draw other businesses to want to lease its additional storefront spaces.

Logan High School

A new four-building project, utilizing metal systems from Star Building Systems, consists of one large clear span metal building with three smaller buildings which form the shape of a cross. Owned by Morgan Horse LLC, the Cobalt Stables buildings in Kansas City, KS, feature metal components, composite roofing and wood in a functional and seamlessly integrated living space for humans and horses.

Dearing Elementary School

The 20th and newest elementary school in the Pflugerville Independent School District opened to rave reviews from students, teachers and parents alike. Dearing Elementary School in Texas, which creates more energy than the building consumes, was lauded for its net-zero design. The school features metal rainscreen panels from Petersen.

After discovering the old door's inferior hinges were the culprit, his next call was to Schweiss Doors.

Tisch Art Barn

Part of the building's design success is owed to its exterior being wrapped entirely with titanium zinc from RHEINZINK America Inc.

Provo Power

J & M Steel Solutions, a Nucor Building Systems Authorized Builder, earned the 2017 Building of the Year honor from the Metal Building Contractors & Erectors Association for their work on the Provo Power project in Sandy, Utah. The project is comprised of a 17,500 sq. ft. pre-engineered Nucor building used as a maintenance facility attached to a structural steel building serving as administrative offices.

The new Genesee Water Treatment Facility in Golden, CO is going to be hit with an average of 84 inches of snow annually. To keep employees and the general public safe from falling snow, a snow retention system from S-5! was installed on the building's metal roof.
