Kuhn Hangar

Fuog/InterBuild Inc. is no stranger to winning National Frame Building Association awards. During the past two decades, the Purcellville, VA construction company has garnered four NFBA Building of the Year awards while finishing second or third in the judging numerous other times. In 2017 the firm once again claimed the post frame association's top project honor and this time it did it with the help of a Designer hydraulic door from Schweiss Doors.

Red Mesa High School CTE Classroom Center

When the Red Mesa Unified District decided to expand Red Mesa High School with a new Career and Technical Education (CTE) building, they set out to achieve two critical requirements: meet sustainability goals and address the challenge of adding square footage to an occupied campus on a very tight site area. Metal wall panels from AEP Span played a key role in the facility's design.

Geiger Ready Mix Facility Upgrades

Varco Pruden Buildings supplied the material for a new 16,672 sq. ft., 85' tall, concrete batch plant enclosure for Geiger Ready Mix in Kansas City, KS. Crossland Construction Company Inc. of Columbus, KS was the Authorized VP Builder and the designer was AGC Engineers Inc. of Liberty, MO.

Exeter Area YMCA

Local needs are a top priority when planning for the construction of a new YMCA. The Exeter Area YMCA in Exeter, NH was no exception. The 33,000 square foot facility was designed to include fitness studios, weight and cardio rooms, a gymnasium, indoor track and a community room. The building is both attractive and energy efficient, thanks to the use of insulated metal wall panels from Metl-Span for its construction.

The Forge

Opened in the spring of 2018, The Forge, a 272-unit luxury residential tower on Long Island in New York, features a façade of copper-colored anodized aluminum cladding. Designed by FXCollaborative, its distinctive, artistically inspired, industrial-influenced exterior is composed of Dri-Design's aluminum wall panel system finished by Linetec. The project is pursuing LEED® Silver certification.

Woodward Headquarters - Lincoln Campus

With a new era comes a new way to build. Independent aerospace systems manufacturer Woodward’s $200 million, 363,000 sq. ft. Lincoln Campus - a project three years in the making and featuring products from CENTRIA - opened for business in 2016.

Arlington Community Academy

A sparkling faith-based private elementary school has opened its doors in Jacksonville, Fla. The front elevation of the Arlington Community Academy features a bright blue splash of color that creates an iconic, welcoming appearance. Forming the blue splash is approximately 3,000 sq. ft. of Petersen’s Precision Series HWP wall panels front-and-center on the building.

San Francisco International Airport Air Traffic Control Tower

Soaring 210 feet over a latticework of bayside runways, the new air traffic control tower at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) was designed by Fentress Architects in the shape of a sleek, swirling beacon of metal and glass. A central highlight of the tower’s design is a unitized curtain wall, illuminated by a backlit glass façade, and accentuated by a framing system finished with Duranar Sunstorm XL Silver coating by PPG.

The new Saia LTL Freight facility in St. Peters, MO, was designed with company branding in mind. The colors and products chosen, including metal roofing from McElroy Metal, were a true team decision.

University Of Notre Dame Stadium Locker Room Renovation

Changes to the venerable University of Notre Dame Stadium do not come often. Built in 1930, major improvements to the house that Rockne built last came in 1999. That changed after the conclusion of the 2016 football season when a major facilities expansion and renovation project began. Along with new construction, the stadium's locker rooms were upgraded. The renovation plan incorporated RHEINZINK-Classic bright-rolled zinc from RHEINZINK America.

Airport Square 13

In today’s hyper-competitive commercial real estate market, there's no shortage of properties for prospective tenants to choose from. The owners of Airport Square 13 in Linthicum Heights, MD, were well aware of this when they decided to move forward with the renovation of their 30-year-old building. To help transform the four-story structure into a viable lease option with strong curb appeal, the architect they hired covered the exterior with Dri-Design rainscreen metal wall panels.

Limmat Tower

The 262-foot Limmat Tower is regarded as the centerpiece of one of Dietikon, Switzerland’s newer districts, Limmatfeld. At its impressive height, the structure towers high above the district, making it Rapidplatz square’s most recognizable feature. The aluminum composite material used on the building’s exterior façade features coatings from Beckers.

Tower Road Starbucks - Denver

Home to Starbucks, many regard Seattle, Washington as the coffee capital of the United States. But Denver residents like their coffee too. The Mile-High City is home to 70 Starbucks locations, with one of the latest opening at Tower Rd. and 67th Avenue. Incorporated into the exterior design of the new store are Omega-Lite aluminum composite metal wall panels from Laminators Inc.

York Tech C-Building

Previously standing as the oldest building on the York Tech campus in Rock Hill, South Carolina, the C-Building was renovated at a cost of roughly $3 million and represents the first great step toward the remaining 120-acre campus’s renovations. In order to provide the façade with a dynamic look without breaking the bank, the architect specified CENTRIA’s Intercept Entyre modular metal panel system to equip the building with smooth expanses and sharp angles for varied and unique sightlines.

IMG Performance & Sport Science Center

The new IMG Performance & Sport Science Center is the capstone building of IMG Academy’s world-class athletic training facilities in Bradenton, Fla. Founded in 1978 by legendary tennis coach Nick Bolliettieri, IMG Academy is now internationally recognized as a premier multi-sport training and educational destination for amateur and professional athletes alike. PAC-CLAD metal panels by Petersen are featured on the facility.

BAM South

Soaring above Brooklyn’s thriving Fort Greene neighborhood, BAM South is a monument to the growing design possibilities associated with metal architecture and sophisticated design and modeling software. Designed by Enrique Norten of TEN Arquitectos, the 32-story structure features Reynobond aluminum composite material (ACM) panels by Alcoa Architectural Products (now Arconic Architectural Products) fabricated into pans and finished with Duranar XL fluoropolymer coatings by PPG.

Roxboro Lift Station

The new Roxboro Lift Station in Calgary, Alberta, Canada is built to withstand a once-in-a-century flood. But function wasn't the sole criteria in its design. It looks good too, blending in and standing out, thanks primarily to the use of cladding products from Kingspan Insulated Panels.
