Arc'teryx Flagship Store - Vancouver

Several factors influenced the design of the new Arc’teryx flagship store in Vancouver, British Columbia but all led to the prominent use of zinc on the building’s exterior. The retail chain, founded by local climbers in 1989, offers high-performance outdoor equipment and clothing. Custom RHEINZINK panels, installed on a diagonal façade along with natural granite to symbolize the nearby mountain horizon, highlight the retailer’s largest Canadian store.

Mills Fleet Farm Parking Garage

In the Downtown East neighborhood of Minneapolis, the Mills Fleet Farm Parking Garage provides much needed parking for local venues. It’s not only a convenient parking location but also an example that parking garages can go beyond function and into the realm of design. The Dri-Design Wall Panels with Perforated Imaging, which are featured at the entrances, depict a natural woods scene, thereby enlivening the streetscape.

A majestic wave tops the new Clover School District YMCA natatorium in Clover, SC. A standing seam metal roof from McElroy Metal was used to create it, delivering an aesthetic the architect demanded and the community had hoped for.

LandMark Group Industrial Building - Columbus, IN

The LandMark Group is one of the largest real estate developers in the Midwest. The company's success is related to its ability and willingness to build precisely to their clients' needs. One of their newest buildings is a prime example. Located in Columbus, IN, the industrial building is clad partially with ThermalSafe fire-resistant insulated metal panels from Metl-Span.

Living Hope Church

Utilizing Rigid Frame and Continuous Beam systems from Varco Pruden Buildings, Living Hope Church in Middletown, PA was completed in May 2017 by Arthur Funk & Sons Inc. Construction Services of Lebanon, PA. The 24,769 sq. ft. church was designed by Cornerstone Design Architects of Lancaster, PA.

Sheyenne Plaza

Occupying an entire city block in West Fargo, ND, Sheyenne Plaza is hard to overlook. But what makes the $12 million, 124,000 sq. ft. building stand out even more is a design that includes three colors of Omega-Lite aluminum composite panels from Laminators Inc.

Moving Everest Charter School

The new Moving Everest Charter School, located in the Austin neighborhood on the Far West Side of Chicago, utilizes a unique model that accommodates both the new charter school as well as a provider of after-school programs. The new building’s vivid architecture signifies progress and innovation in the underserved neighborhood. More than 16,000 sq. ft. of PAC-CLAD 7/8-in. Corrugated panels by Petersen, finished in Charcoal, dramatically clad the exterior of the 53,000-sq.-ft. structure.

Greenhouse Church

In January 2017, Greenhouse Church contracted with Ceco Builder Scherer Construction of North Florida LLC, of Gainesville, FL to build their new worship facility, using a custom metal building system. The church’s mission was to build a multi-generational, multi-cultural and multi-ethnic community while making an impact in the greater Gainesville community.

Indian River County Intergenerational Recreation Center

Located in Vero Beach, Florida, the Indian River County Intergenerational Recreation Center opened its doors for the first time in August 2016. The new facility, branded by the County as the iG (Intergenerational Center), is commonly referred to as ‘Big Red’ – an apt name given its Bright Red IMETCO Series 300® metal roof.

Ironworks

One of the vestiges of Beloit, Wisconsin's industrial roots is the Beloit Corporation steel-making plant. Ultimately closing in 1999, the old industrial complex stands not as a symbol of Beloit's decline, but rather its resilience. Renamed Ironworks, the property is now a vibrant, multi-tenant commercial campus. Where new walls have gone up and interior spaces transformed, Cor-Ten steel panels from McElroy Metal have become a familiar sight.

The state-of-the-art birthing center features the latest technology and trends in healthcare. This concept is reflected by its exterior design with the use of metal wall panels from Dri-Design.

Asmus Farm Supply Fleet Maintenance Building

In the late 1950s, Harvey Asmus began touting a new way to farm. Chemical weed control was not a foreign concept, but it hadn't been adopted by the masses. Soon enough though, local farmers came around and Asmus' business venture, Asmus Farm Supply, was off and running. More than a half-century later, AFS is still going strong. Helping keep the business running smoothly is a new fleet maintenance building, equipped with a hydraulic door from Schweiss Doors.

Austin (TX) Central Library

Recently, the City of Austin, Texas built an entirely new central library building to serve its citizens, and in designing the building, architects from Lake Flato Architects and Shepley Bulfinch chose perforated anodized aluminum from Lorin Industries, Inc. as a central façade design element.

UPPAbaby Headquarters

High-end stroller retailer UPPAbaby, based in Rockland, MA, turned to a modern glass and Metl-Span insulated metal panel façade for its new 45,000-square-foot headquarters. The mixed-use project accommodates a warehouse and maintenance workshop, a retail front to conduct direct-to-consumer business, and ample office space.

Metra Union Pacific/West Commuter Railroad Station

Construction of the new Metra Union Pacific/West commuter railroad station in Lombard, Ill., marks a major improvement for riders as well as the residents of the Village of Lombard. The platform canopies are clad with approximately 11,000 sq. ft. of PAC-CLAD Tite-Loc Panels from Petersen. The curved 22-gauge panels are finished in Aged Copper.

City Of Greenville Public Works Campus

In May 2016, the City of Greenville, SC contracted with DP3 Architects of Greenville, Harper Construction of Greenville and Ceco Builder ProSteel of Clover, SC, to build their new facility. The main goal was to find a building that complemented the public services industry for the City of Greenville. The current operations were dispersed throughout the city in older facilities that needed major updating. A central location would allow for more efficient operation and communication.
