The expanded Palmetto Bluff Resort in Bluffton, S.C., now boasts a new 74-room inn complete with extensive high-end amenities and a PAC-CLAD Snap-Clad roof from Petersen finished in custom color Patrician Bronze. Approximately 75,000 sq. ft. of the 24 gauge Galvalume panels were installed on a tight deadline.

Situated in Elkhart, Indiana, a new office and warehouse operation for ABF was created with the use of metal building systems from Varco Pruden Buildings. The 227,358 sq. ft. structure utilizes Continuous Beam and WideBay framing systems. Varco Pruden also supplied its SSR roofing formed from Galvalume-coated steel, along with Vee Rib walls panels in Cool Zinc Gray color.

While Fairfax County does not require schools to follow LEED certification, sustainable principles were used in the renovation and expansion of Reston, VA's Terraset Elementary School. Among the sustainable products utilized in improving the school's look and function was an Envelope 2000® Deep-Reveal (DRV) metal wall system from Citadel Architectural Products.

The stunning façade incorporating three colors of Versa-Lok panels on Zeiders American Dream Theater in Virginia Beach, VA, won first place for the category of commercial walls in ATAS International’s project of the year awards for 2018.

No one wants to hear the word “fail” except when it presents a prospect for change. Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort’s Hotel in Jackson, CA, had a failing Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS) on its façade and seized the opportunity for a design and functionality revamp. The best cladding replacement option was Dri-Design wall panels for their appearance, performance, fire resistance and weatherability.

The new $13 million JD Ross Maintenance Headquarters facility in Vancouver, WA, is nothing, if not energy efficient. Utilized as the Bonneville Power Administration’s (BPA) Southwest Washington base for transmission line for substation maintenance crews, substation operators, control technicians and support engineers, the building is 'Net Zero' in terms of energy use. Fitting with that goal, the building's architect equipped the structure with bifold doors from Schweiss Doors.

Spanning 39 stories and more than 500,000 total square feet, the new West Edge Tower in downtown Seattle has already become an iconic architectural feature in the city’s celebrated skyline. The tower relies on a highly efficient mix of cladding materials, including curtain wall, glass, masonry and high-performance insulated metal panels by Metl-Span.

The Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center - also serving as the Minnesota Vikings Team Headquarters and Practice Facility - exemplifies the team’s spirit, unity, and resilience. Through its design, it also nods to ancient Viking history, culture, country of origin, and forms including longships and their intricate jewelry. CENTRIA’s Formawall® high-performance building envelope was deemed the ideal product to fulfill Crawford Architects’ vision.

When officials in Lilburn, Ga., planned the new double-duty library and city hall building, the vision called for interior spaces that provided ease of access and circulation within the structure, with a shared lobby space on the first and second floor. On the exterior, steep-slope roof elements draw attention to certain building functions and entry locations, and metal roof panels by Petersen accentuate these spaces.

Metalwërks® products are prominently featured at the new Marriott EDITION hotel located at 701 Seventh Avenue in Times Square, New York City.

Materials from Varco Pruden Buildings were used to create the Lanz Hangar in Eugene, Oregon. Ordell Construction LLC was the Varco Pruden Builder for the 9,288 sq. ft. facility and the designer was SSW Engineers; both firms are also located in Eugene.

A Florida roofing contractor is known for giving its customers what they want, and what the Solid Waste Authority of West Palm Beach County, FL wanted was a solution to a leaking roof. Advanced Roofing Inc. provided it by adding Roof Hugger sub-purlins to SWA's foliage collection building, and then installing 238T aluminum roofing by McElroy Metal.

When real estate firm Altis Cardinal brought CubeSmart Self Storage to St. Petersburg, Florida, it recognized the potential in the city. Since the developers were bringing it to an urban area, they recognized they needed to design a building of high-level aesthetics and performance. Metal panel systems from Kingspan helped those goals be realized.

When creating a truly motivating retail experience, the dedication of every construction team member is needed. Millennium Interiors in Pottstown, Pa., shows commitment to its craft in all its jobs through its detailed work and corporate beliefs. This is evident in its work at Altar'd State, a women’s clothing boutique at The Promenade Shops at Soucon Valley in Central Valley, Pa., where curves were created with Flex-C Arch and Flex-C Trac from Flex-Ability Concepts.

The new High Street Residence Hall at Dickinson College, showcases modern student living inside, and a zinc façade in durable, distinctive and sustainable RHEINZINK cladding, on the outside. As the first residence constructed in 40 years on the historic Pennsylvania campus, High Street opened in Aug. 2018, and in Jan. 2019, earned LEED® Platinum certification through the U.S. Green Building Council.

Students at the University of Nebraska Omaha’s Pacific campus have the opportunity to live, worship and play together in the new St. John Paul II Newman Center. From the start of the student housing design phase, BVH Architecture, Omaha, wanted to use metal wall panels that would inspire the students to live the journey for which they were called in a building that enlightened their college experience. Dri-Design's VMZINC Series panels were chosen for their appearance, scale and durability.

School design has come a long way since the 1950s. Gone are standardized boxy structures, and in are spaces filled with natural light. Wichita High School Southeast is a new campus that replaces a 1950s structure and meets the community's growing population needs with current design practices. The exterior showcases Citadel Architectural Products’ Envelope 2000® metal composite material (MCM), installed using the RainScreen (RS) attachment system.

The Chicago flagship operation of logistics provider C.H. Robinson opened its doors to employees in August 2018 as the first anchor tenant in the Lincoln Yards revitalization development near the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. This modern office building reflects its riverfront location with a design that emulates the flow of water with undulating fins fabricated from ALUCOBOND® Plus aluminum composite material by 3A Composites USA.

The leaders of the Soul City Church on Chicago’s west side sought help with plans for expansion to meet the needs of a growing congregation. The project evolved into a 29,000 square foot addition and 20,000 square foot renovation of the existing building, complete with insulated metal panels from Metl-Span.
