Austin Hall

Some roofers are simply cut out to do their thing in the spotlight. Empire Roofing of Austin, Texas is one of them. The firm executed the removal of an existing leaking stainless-steel metal roof and the installation of McElroy Metal’s 238T symmetrical copper standing seam roofing system on a historic centerpiece building on the campus of Sam Houston State University.

City Of Ottawa Fire Stations No. 55 & 36

The City of Ottawa, Canada has fire stations located across the city to provide emergency services to more than 1 million residents. Based on the results of a study, it was recommended to close two stations in the east and build two new ones. Station No. 55 was built in a suburban area of the city among new housing developments while Station No. 36 is in a developing industrial area. Both stations feature Garland's R-Mer® Span panels.

Fannie Emanuel Apartments

Situated on a 2.5-acre landscaped site, Chicago’s Fannie Emanuel senior housing complex was renovated using 61,153 square feet of CENTRIA Formawall® smooth FWDS and segmented FWGX insulated metal panels.

Vale Church

Building systems and components from NCI Building Systems, including framing by Star Building Systems, single-skin metal wall panels by MBCI and insulated metal wall and roof panels by Metl-Span formed the palette from which the bigger and better Vale Church in Bloomington, IL was designed and built. Fast-track construction of the facility began in August 2017 with completion reached in May 2018.

Citadel Architectural Products’ Envelope 2000® metal composite material (MCM), installed using the RainScreen (RS) attachment system with its modern, sleek and custom options, fit well into this concept.

Lexington Athletic Complex

At first glance, one might not see anything unusual about the red barn that has appeared on the landscape in Blaine, Minn. But take a closer look and you’ll see that the attractive structure is actually the cornerstone building of the new Lexington Athletic Complex. Approximately 4,000 sq. ft. of PAC-CLAD Snap-Clad panels from Petersen made a significant contribution to accomplishing the facility's design objectives.

The Quarter

Located in Cleveland, OH’s Ohio City neighborhood, The Quarter is the area’s newest sustainable apartment complex. This mixed-use, green building includes 194 luxury apartments and over 30,000 square feet of commercial space. Its design blends tradition with high-tech styling. ACM panels from Laminators Inc. were integral to achieving the desired look.

Navistar Distribution Center

Dublin Building Systems of Dublin, Ohio utilized products from Varco Pruden Buildings to complete a massive 355,000 sq. ft. distribution center in Urbana, Ohio for Navistar, a leading manufacturer of commercial trucks, buses, defense vehicles and engines.

Catalyst Health-Tech Innovation Building

In the River North Art District of Denver, there are plenty of galleries, craft brewers and street art. The Catalyst Health-Tech Innovation development is bringing a new kind of creativity to the city by offering tenants office spaces along with a restaurant, retail, workout facility, conference rooms and beautiful views of downtown Denver. The building’s exterior is accented with insulated metal wall panels from Kingspan Insulated Panels – North America.

Raven Production Management Company of New Orleans continually challenges its employees to bring revolutionary production solutions to all of its clients. The company's latest tool to that end are container units that can be deployed for a whole host of purposes, anytime or anywhere. One of the key components in the units' construction are bifold doors by Schweiss Doors.

Nitchkey Residence

Confined to designing a 2,500 square foot residence on a narrow 20-foot by 60-foot lot in a dense urban neighborhood, David W. Nitchkey, principal at CORE Architects of Pittsburgh, designed his own unique three-story home with the use of exposed fastener panels from McElroy Metal.

Zoller Inc. Headquarters

Zoller Inc.’s headquarters in Ann Arbor, MI, achieved the company's distinct, corporate-branded façade by relying on CENTRIA Formawall®’s ingenuity and customization. CENTRIA, a leading building envelope science company, provided approximately 24,500 square feet of Formawall high performance building envelope system for the 44,000 square-foot building.

Alpha Brewing Company

Alpha Brewing Company recently took its business to the next level with a new, expanded headquarters in St. Louis that features a high-performance insulated metal panel façade by Metl-Span. At more than 13,000 square feet, the all-inclusive facility combines a taproom and restaurant with seating for approximately 300 patrons and the manufacturing capability to produce 3,000 barrels of beer annually.

Brewhalla

Brewhalla is one of Fargo, North Dakota’s latest breweries, and it’s located in a building that’s older than the state itself. Named in honor of their Scandinavian heritage, the team at Drekker Brewing Company opened Brewhalla — its second location — in September 2018. Its features are heavily influenced by the building’s history, including its picturesque custom doors, provided by Midland Door Solutions of West Fargo.

Using Varco Pruden Buildings' Rigid Frame system, Lux Row Distillers combines eight framing shapes to bring together a 24,341 sq. ft. working distillery and visitor experience in Bardstown, Kentucky. Lux Row Distillers was selected as the Best of Agriculture & Food Processing Winner in the 2019 Varco Pruden Hall Of Fame presentation.

Round Rock Public Training Safety Center

Inspired by the uniforms worn by the first responders trained there, blue and gray metal panels from Dri-Design clad the new 65,000-square-foot Round Rock Public Safety Training Center in Round Rock, TX. The panels' long-lasting Sherwin-Williams Fluropon® paint finishes were applied to the metal in coil form prior to fabrication by Linetec.

Tallahassee Residence

The owners’ vision for the design of their new Tallahassee, Fla. home was that it have a “sophisticated farmhouse” look, as architect Brandon Ingram of C. Brandon Ingram Design in Tallahassee described it. “They wanted it to be comfortable but a little more ‘tailored’. We worked together to create a stylish look that realized their vision.” Petersen's Snap-Clad roofing panels are a key design element in achieving that vision.

Apex Friendship Middle School

Apex Friendship Middle School in Apex, North Carolina, opened in the fall of 2018. Not only is it large enough to hold more than 1,400 students, it will serve as a model for future schools in the Wake County Public School system. One of the key cladding materials chosen for the building's construction was insulated metal wall panels from Kingspan.

Michael B. Coleman Government Center

RHEINZINK America, Inc. and CENTRIA have formed a strategic marketing alliance. Showcasing their successful collaboration, the two companies recently worked together to provide architectural zinc façade cladding and roofing systems on the Michael B. Coleman Government Center in Columbus, Ohio. In Jan. 2019, the project earned LEED® Silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
