Green Acre Farms Kiln Building

A new 24,510 sq. ft. kiln building was constructed for Green Acre Farms to be used as a hop drying facility for the Wapato, Washington operation. Measuring 114’ wide x 215’ long x 28’ high, the kiln building features products from Star Building Systems.

Access Center For Discovery And Learning

In an effort to strengthen urban Chicago neighborhoods, the Access Community Health Network opened the Access Center For Discovery And Learning as part of a health-focused campus that includes a community health center along with other integrated support services. The facility features architectural metal products by CENTRIA.

AIA Atlanta/Georgia Headquarters

The vision of the American Institute of Architects and AIA Atlanta and Georgia is “Driving Positive Change through the Power of Design.” When AIA Atlanta and Georgia moved into new offices, an exhaustive search led to the specifying of a bifold liftstrap door from Schweiss Doors at the entry on the main wall facing the front of the building.

Bakery Living

Sustainability was a focus in the design and construction of Bakery Living, an upscale apartment building in Pittsburgh's trendy East End. The building is clad with metal panels by ATAS International, featuring long-lasting, energy efficient Sherwin-Williams paint finishes.

Gamecock Park Restroom Buildings

In spite of a nearly impossible installation schedule, the new restroom buildings at the University of South Carolina’s new Gamecock Park were completed in time for tailgating prior to the season-opening game in 2015. Directly adjacent to Williams Brice Football Stadium in Columbia, S.C., the facilities are covered by metal roofing from Petersen.

Skyway Library

Dri-Design panels have been known to turn heads for their looks, but they were selected for the Skyway Library in Seattle because they can turn around a building. The entire exterior of the library is wrapped in Dri-Design Wall Panels, creating a landmark destination for the downtown district. The joint venture architects of BuildingWork and Weinstein AU, both of Seattle, were adamant that the last piece of metal panel had to circle back and meet the first—with precision.

Kendall-Jackson Wine Storage Facility

Jackson Family Wines (JFW) was looking to expand, and a new wine storage building at the company's Kendall-Jackson Winery in Fulton, CA would unlock the growth opportunities sought. When the time came to build, JFW chose a metal building contractor with expertise in wine storage structures and a good understanding of the benefits insulated metal panel systems from Kingspan Insulated Panels would bring to the project.

Round 1 Bowling And Amusement

An opportunity for design freedom allowed Cornerstone Architecture, Oklahoma City, to impress at Round 1 Bowling And Amusement in Taunton, Mass. With Flex-C Trac by Flex-Ability Concepts, the ceiling of the concourse entrance to the entertainment center was transformed into a fun and sophisticated art form.

Hershey Gardens Welcome Pavilion

The Welcome Pavilion of the new Milton & Catherine Hershey Conservatory at Hershey Gardens is one of the first thing visitors see as they drive up to the popular southeastern Pennsylvania attraction. The Pavilion’s most prominent feature is a new curved metal roof from Drexel Metals, which almost seems to crown the new conservatory.

American Airlines Training & Conference Center

It’s a rare occasion when a newly constructed building is partially disassembled upon completion, but that is exactly what happened at the American Airlines Training & Conference Center in Fort Worth, Texas. Not long after expansion construction was completed, a section of Green Span Profiles insulated metal panels was removed to accommodate the installation of eight different full-size flight simulators.

The City of Myrtle Beach was looking for an efficient method of dealing with some moisture and insulation issues at the indoor pool of the Pepper Geddings Recreation Center. Metl-Span’s Mesa insulated metal panel was chosen to solve the problems quickly and cost-effectively.

Kansas City Power & Light, Safety And Training Center

Kansas City Power & Light (KCP&L) launched the latest addition to their Kansas City, MO-based offices - the Safety And Training Center - in late 2015. Featuring a variety of metal products from CENTRIA, the two-story, 53,000 sq. ft. facility provides a world-class education center for KCP&L’s linemen and apprentices.

Lebanon Municipal Service Facility

The Lebanon Municipal Service Facility in Lebanon, OH consists of three custom-engineered metal buildings by Star Building Systems that total 33,000 sq. ft. The project was started in August 2014 and completed in April 2015.

Lakeview Baptist Church

A church in Dundee, Ohio is now covered with a new metal roof formed from steel by Coated Metals Group (CMG) after its old, deteriorating shingle roof was on the verge of causing structural damage to the building.

Glidewell Investments & Insurance Group Headquarters

The contemporary new home of Glidewell Investments & Insurance Group in Missoula, MT barely resembles the 1960’s concrete block structure that preceded it. Part of the success of its dramatic transformation lies in the decision to clad the original facade with Flat Lock Tiles in a prePATINA graphite-grey finish from RHEINZINK America.

Golden 1 Center

With much fanfare, the $507 million Golden 1 Center in downtown Sacramento, CA recently opened. While the venue is designed to host concerts and conventions, it will be known first and foremost as the home arena of the National Basketball Association Sacramento Kings.The arena is state of the art in every way, including its incorporation of enormous, glass-paneled bifold doors from Schweiss Doors.

Cape Canaveral Fire And Rescue

The new Cape Canaveral Fire and Rescue facility in Florida is a far cry from the previous station that was built by volunteers in 1962, which had become outdated and inefficient. The modern station - featuring aluminum roofing from Petersen - is now home to 15 volunteers and 35 paid personnel, and is designed to effectively serve the City of Cape Canaveral, Port Canaveral and Avon By The Sea.

More than a decade in the making and heralded as an innovative step forward, the new Butler Tech Bioscience Center in West Chester, OH is envisioned to be an educational facility in a business campus setting, providing students with educational and employment opportunities side-by-side.
