The Nest

As the first new residential project in Burlington, Vermont’s Downtown District in over 15 years, The Nest now serves as an iconic landmark not only for its strikingly modern design, but also for its green building practices throughout the construction process. Central to the project's success both aesthetically and from a green building perspective was the integration of insulated metal panels from Kingspan Insulated Panels for its design.

The Nest At Terra Verde Discovery School

Terra Verde Discovery School in Norman, Oklahoma, has been steadily growing since it was founded in 2010. To accommodate the expanding needs of the school, “The Nest” event center – featuring metal building products from Star Building Systems – has been designed to allow for small group instruction.

The Oculus

It’s Clemson. It’s Tigers. It’s Metal. At Clemson University, Clemson, SC, the west end zone of Clemson Memorial Stadium has a statement piece that is clad in Dri-Design panels. Known as the Oculus of the WestZone Complex, the iconic structure serves as the center of the Clemson Athletic District.

The Pablo Center At The Confluence

The best designs have a specific direction right from the start. The Pablo Center at the Confluence in Eau Claire, WI, was constructed to fit into its site where the Eau Claire and Chippewa rivers meet, using traditional and practical façade features, including insulated metal panels from Metl-Span.

The Park At OWA

The Park at OWA in Foley, Ala., combines an amusement park with two themed shopping and entertainment districts. Drawing on classic Southern coastal architectural themes, designers opted for PAC-CLAD metal roofing panels from Petersen throughout the new complex.

The Parkside At Craig Ranch

Completion of The Parkside at Craig Ranch apartments and townhomes marks the third phase of the Craig Ranch development, a nationally acclaimed master-planned community in McKinney, Texas. Highlighting The Parkside is an interesting palette of material based around more than 11,000 sq. ft. of Petersen standing seam wall panels finished in the new PAC-CLAD Weathered Steel finish made from a 70% PVDF Kynar formula manufactured by Sherwin-Williams Coil Coatings.

The Pavilion At Ole Miss

Interest in college hoops is at an all-time high. At the University of Mississippi, a new $96.5 million multi-purpose facility - dubbed The Pavilion at Ole Miss - is home to the men’s and women’s basketball programs and host to myriad other events, including graduation ceremonies and concerts. The new arena is topped with a curved metal roof, finished with an architectural paint coating by Valspar.

In Mankato, MN, one business is going to the dogs, literally. The Paw is an innovative pet care facility that offers a whole host of services. In addition to being a pet daycare, it offers medical care, rehabilitation, grooming, exercise programs and organizes and hosts social events. Helping the business operate safely and efficiently is a one-of-a-kind liftable divider door from Schweiss Doors.

Located in the SoFA (South of First Area) arts district near downtown San Jose, CA, The Pierce has all the amenities today’s city-loving apartment hunters are looking for. And thanks to the colorful array of Laminators Incorporated aluminum composite panels featured on its exterior, it has the looks to match.

The Quarter

Located in Cleveland, OH’s Ohio City neighborhood, The Quarter is the area’s newest sustainable apartment complex. This mixed-use, green building includes 194 luxury apartments and over 30,000 square feet of commercial space. Its design blends tradition with high-tech styling. ACM panels from Laminators Inc. were integral to achieving the desired look.

The Skating Club Of Boston

When great design meets great execution, projects like The Skating Club of Boston in Norwood, MA, are the end result. The ice arena’s dynamic design combines exterior-grade laminated wood paneling with 50,000 sq. ft. of high-efficiency Noroc and Norex-L insulated metal panels from Norbec to create an exterior envelope for the large building that is both attractive and energy efficient.

The latest addition to Wichita State University’s aptly named Innovation Campus is, itself, a model of innovation – specifically, manufacturing innovation. Dubbed “The Smart Factory,” the structure features metal products from Petersen.

The Stack Deep Ellum

The unique façade design of The Stack Deep Ellum – a new 16-story 215,000 square-foot mixed-use office, retail and parking development – reflects the dynamic nature of the historic Dallas neighborhood, which transitions from daytime office, art gallery and café spaces to nighttime entertainment, happy-hour and evening-only dining venues. It featured aluminum composite material (ACM) cladding from 3A Composites USA.

The Tower At PNC Plaza

PPG Industries, with global headquarters in Pittsburgh, announced that its Sungate® passive low-emissivity (low-e) glass, Starphire Ultra-Clear™ glass, Coraflon® powder coatings and PPG Paints™ products were used on The Tower at PNC Plaza, which opened in October 2015 in Pittsburgh. The project was designed to be the world’s greenest office building.

The Towers @ Great America

The new outdoor dining area at The Towers @ Great America (TAGA) multi-tenant office complex in Santa Clara, CA includes a draped metal mesh canopy that provides shading while offering connectivity to a redesigned amenity building and indoor eating space. The canopy’s primary components were manufactured by Cambridge Architectural, a leader in the manufacture of sustainable metal mesh systems.

The Triangle

Three corners at the end of the historic district in Redmond, WA, come together to form The Triangle, a new LEED Gold apartment building. Architect Tiscareno Associates, Redmond, contrasted the classic, red-brick look of the district with a modern and bold design achieved in part with Citadel Architectural Products' Envelope 2000® metal composite material (MCM) installed using the Reveal (RV) system.

The University Of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital

The new University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital is state-of-the-art in every way. To create a welcoming, awe-inspiring environment for its young patients, the project's design team added giant louvers as wall decor inside the main entrance. The louvers are finished with 36 custom colors of Valspar paint, in a soothing palette of greens and blues.

The Valley Club

The Valley Club in Hailey, Idaho, established in 1996, has evolved into “an extraordinary haven for those seeking golfing excellence and unparalleled lifestyle amenities.” To maintain that status and develop a solution for a failing wood shake roofing system, the club chose to install metal roofing from the Natural FX Coatings palette offered by The Bryer Company.
