Tennessee Packaging Company

The new facility for Tennessee Packaging Company in Loudon, TN is impressive throughout. It sports clean lines on the exterior with its sleek metal wall panels on the manufacturing area, and architectural metal roofing and exposed structural steel at the main entry. Metal systems from Varco Pruden Buildings were used to create the 157,503 sq. ft. facility.

Terminix Headquarters

In order to consolidate operations previously taking place in separate structures, Terminix decided to construct a new two-story office and warehousing facility on its existing campus in Columbia, SC. Because of the building's high visibility and proximity to Interstate 26, great aesthetics were a must. To elevate the overall design, and also give a nod to the site's original structures, the project's architect incorporated eye-catching panel profiles from McElroy Metal into the look.

TERRA House

When the doors swung open recently to the Mid-South's first residential "green house", visitors inside the remarkable home were sheltered by an energy-efficient roof provided by Memphis, TN-based Varco Pruden Buildings, a division of BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. The TERRA house, which had its grand opening February 27, 2009, is applying for platinum level LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. If the certification is granted, it would be the first such residence in the state of Tennessee.

Terraset Elementary School

While Fairfax County does not require schools to follow LEED certification, sustainable principles were used in the renovation and expansion of Reston, VA's Terraset Elementary School. Among the sustainable products utilized in improving the school's look and function was an Envelope 2000® Deep-Reveal (DRV) metal wall system from Citadel Architectural Products.

Texas Country Home

At the encouragement of their architect, a Texas couple decided to incorporate a pair of Schweiss Doors hydraulic designer doors into the design of their new home...one for the 3,000-square-foot garage/barn and the other on the fancy basement party room in the home.

Thaden School

Thaden School in Bentonville, Arkansas, celebrates the class of 2021 – the first to graduate from this new independent middle and high school. As the next academic year begins, returning students will be welcomed back to an expanded offering on its 30-acre campus. The three of the newest school buildings – "Reels," "Wheels" and the performing arts center – were designed by Marlon Blackwell Architects and feature architectural coil coatings by Sherwin-Williams.

Thalmann Seed Farm

The newly constructed dual-purpose shed at Thalmann Seed Farm is the definition of modern efficiency and versatility. Replacing a long-standing structure that had served the farm for many years, this new shed ushers in an exciting new era for the operation. For efficiency and long-term, low-maintenance performance, the doors installed at both ends of the new building were both manufactured by Schweiss Doors.

The Ark At John F. Kennedy International Airport

The world's first privately owned airport handling center for animals showcases a high-performance, energy-efficient insulated metal panel (IMP) building envelope. Three types of Metl-Span panel products are used on The Ark, which is located at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City.

The Barn At Sycamore Farms

To replicate the traditional look of a barn for a wedding/events center, it would only make sense to top the facility with a metal roof. The Barn at Sycamore Farms, built on a historic property in Arrington, TN, is designed to be a luxury event venue, suitable for corporate events, weddings and conventions. The Barn can accommodate more than 300 guests and is topped by 16,000 square feet of Medallion-Lok roofing panels from McElroy Metal.

The Bower At The Yards

The Yards in Washington, DC is an adaptive reuse site on land that formerly belonged to the United States Navy. Used for shipbuilding and ordinance, its heritage played a pivotal role in its architecture adaption. A metal composite panel system from CEI Materials helped give a new luxury apartment complex on the site a look appropriate for its setting.

The Brooks

The owner of the The Brooks hotel wanted a unique structure, an inviting facility with a high-end look that stood out from the many other ordinary hotel chain buildings along the roadway. The ProCore panel from Citadel Architectural Products offered a clean contemporary look while assisting the owner with meeting his budget.

The Cannon

Renovating and transforming a 70-year-old manufacturing facility into a contemporary office building with impressive amenities, requires some imagination, careful planning and a lot of communication. The Cannon, an entrepreneurial hub in west Houston, also called for more than 90,000 square feet of insulated metal panels (IMPs) from Metl-Span for walls and roofing.

The Center For STARK Cultural Venues

An old church dome in Orange, Texas was returned to its former glory and the building it tops given a new lease on life, thanks to new ownership and the products of Peachtree City, GA-based MetalTech-USA. The company fabricated the shingles and roof panels used in the iconic dome's restoration, using RHEINZINK titanium zinc from RHEINZINK America Inc., Woburn, MA.

The Columbian Newspaper Headquarters

More than 12,000 sq. ft. of Citadel Envelope 2000® Rain Screen played a key role in the design of the new headquarters building of The Columbian daily newspaper, Vancouver, WA. The Columbian is one of the few remaining independent dailies in the U.S. and the largest in southwest Washington. The Citadel metal composite material (MCM) panels were finished in Charcoal Metallic and interface with precast brick and concrete.

The Confluence

Coming up with a name for one of Denver’s newest and tallest residential buildings was the easy part. The Confluence was built adjacent to Confluence Park, at the confluence of Cherry Creek and the South Platte River in Denver’s Lower Downtown. Coming up with the right look for the 35-story development was a trickier proposition, but thanks to the incorporation of metal wall panels from Morin, a Kingspan Group Company, the effort was successful.

The architectural goal of The Constellation was to “lead the charge” of a rejuvenation at the very heart of Madison, WI, where an ultra-modern design and urban décor were achieved in part by insulated metal panels from Metl-Span®.

The Dupont

Google describes Brooklyn, New York's Greenpoint neighborhood as a residential area with hipster appeal. Among the new residential towers is The Dupont, a just-completed 41-story development whose top-of-the-line amenities are rivaled only by its stunning views. Marking the building's prominent entrance is a canopy comprised of perforated textured metal from Buffalo, NY's Rigidized® Metals.

The Elm

Rising 30 stories high in downtown Bethesda, MD is an iconic new structure called The Elm. The neutral tones of the residential high-rise are juxtaposed by the glass curtain wall of the office façade. The building's upper portions are covered with aluminum composite panels fabricated and installed by Manchester, MI-based CEI Materials.

The Fathers House

Since opening in 1997, The Fathers House church in Vacaville, CA has experienced tremendous growth. A recent expansion allows the church to better serve the current congregation and sets the table for future growth. The utilization of glass storefront-style bifold doors from Schweiss Doors figured not only into the goals for the present but also those ahead.

The Forge

Opened in the spring of 2018, The Forge, a 272-unit luxury residential tower on Long Island in New York, features a façade of copper-colored anodized aluminum cladding. Designed by FXCollaborative, its distinctive, artistically inspired, industrial-influenced exterior is composed of Dri-Design's aluminum wall panel system finished by Linetec. The project is pursuing LEED® Silver certification.
